I'm in Houston for cancer care and we stopped in for a late dinner. We had to wait a few minutes to be seated because there wasn't a host(ess) in sight. Our waiter was friendly, attentive without smothering us, and on top of everything. I had the Don Julio margarita and it was very good. It didn't have that super sweet taste that comes from using that crappy margarita mix. Margaritas should not be green! My husband had the honey BBQ ribs and i had the chopped steak dinner with sautéed onions and mushrooms. The meat was perfectly seasoned and the caesar salad was delicious. My husband loved his ribs and i took a bite and agreed with him. If we go back, i might ask if i can order from the children's menu (if they have one) because the portions are just too big for me. I'm from Michigan and I would recommend this place to anyone. Well done Saltgrass Steak House!!
This was the best ever dining experience. Our waiter, Larry, thank you very much for the great job of taking care of us. Tony, thank you for the quality of our food. Everything we ate was wonderful. Our steaks and shrimp cooked to perfection. We drove from Victoria to eat there and was so worth the drive. Anxious to visit you again. Perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
Fun spot! Ask for steak better – it’s mostly garlic butter, and goes great on the bread as well as the beef! Great wait staff, and lots of things on the menu for meat eaters😋

Came with family. The service was very friendly. They kept up with all the dad jokes. Consistent with drink refills. The food was good. My dad didn't send anything back, so it must have been good. My nephew got the chocolate cake. Let's just say that slice looked big enough for three servings, lol.
Neicy was amazing. The manager Kirk was very nice. The food was great. Very happy to have received such great customer service. My daughter’s mini corn dogs were overcooked and she did not enjoy them that much. The bread pudding could have used a little more effort honestly. The flavor was there but it was not real bread pudding if you are a fan of bread puddings. It was hard and not fluffy or decadent. Too many pecans on it. But my Chicken Orleans and baked potato with spinach salad was all yummy. Thank you to the staff for providing my family with a great experience on a special day. We will be back.
This was a great location visit when I went for lunch with my family! The service was very welcoming and prompt and very nice!
Our good tasted delicious and and was freshly made! Our waiter was especially nice and VERY attentive with us and made us laugh, which made our dining experience even better!

The food and service were very good. I had the soup, red fish, and asparagus side. The waiter recommended a pineapple margarita on the rocks, and it was excellent. Thank you to the staff for a great dining experience! P.s. Tell the chef I am from Louisiana, and his food is great!
Please give Niecey aka DENISE A RAISE!!! It's HARD TO FIND good service these days and she is a breath of fresh air!!! She served the six of us, my parents, sisters and niece after her church recital and stayed on top us the entire time. The manager also checked up on us to make sure everything was great. In Houston, to find this level of service is hard to find. We will definitely be returning in the near future and ask for NIECey! Tell them Earthlynn sent you!!! Thank you Niecey!!!!
I always enjoy going to Saltgrass Steak House when I visit Texas. I got the bone in ribeye steak and it was cooked perfect and had just the right amount of seasoning. Great atmosphere. I brought several coworkers with me and they all enjoyed the cozy quiet atmosphere that we could still visit and get some good food and drink.
Our server was the best! Very punctual and ensured we were satisfied with our meal.
The grilled shrimp and green beans were the perfect combo from the lunch special and I am so glad the chicken tortilla soup is back!
Country fried steak was nice and crispy full of flavor. Saltgrass never fails to satisfy!
We ordered the strawberry lemonade and unsweetened peach tea. Both were great, but the unsweetened peach tea still tasted a bit too sweet for my liking.
This was a great location without any waiting. It wasn't very crowded, and we all felt very relaxed there. We will definitely be coming back again!
