Half price bottle of wine night and the all you can eat gnocchi night are awesome! The gnocchi has 5 vegetarian sauces and 5 with meat or seafood so there is something for everyone. The gnocchi is lovely soft little pillows of deliciousness that fill you up quickly! We enjoy the Barolo on the bottle list and at $19 a bottle on half price wine night it's quite a deal. Love the patio with trees lit by tiny white lights...very nice ambiance in the heart of Houston.
My family loves this unique eatery. Piola mashes Italy and Brazil in their delicious menu of pizzas. Their Italian dishes are tasty. Piola's dining room and patio are lively and upbeat. Piola's bar is a great place to meet fellow Midtowners. If you haven't been, GO! If you haven't been in a while, RETURN. Piola exemplifies what makes Houston's restaurant scene one of the absolute best in America.
This pizza place is to die for. Great pizza with fresh ingredients. They will customize your pizza upon request. The pizza has that great crunch crust. Service was awesome as well. A fantastic place to get away with a date or your friends. Atmosphere allows for conversation and relaxation.
I just went out to eat a Piola and it’s was so delicious I really enjoyed the pepperoni pizza it was amazing I also enjoyed how spicy the pizza was.
The pineapple pizza was also very good it was fresh,thin and it didn’t have so much sauce which I also liked.

My seat had mosquitos buzzing around that were biting my legs. I've been here a lot and this was the first time it's happened so maybe just a one off fluke. Food was delicious as always!

The food at Piola was delicious was alway! I took my boyfriend here that just moved to town and we had a great time. He loved it! Vicky was so sweet and personable with her service!
This place is so underrated. I’ve been here twice now and been very impressed after both visits. I’ve tried the meat lovers (picture included) and Pompeii pizzas and they’re both wonderful. Try the garlic knots too! Fast and friendly service is a guarantee here and they’re generous with portions for food and drinks ;) For parking, there’s a huge garage right next to this place that is free. Highly recommend!
This Piola franchise has the best quality food, drinks, and service. Not all Piola locations are under the same ownership and not all Piola restaurants use the same quality ingredients. In Houston, the Midtown location is the best! My family and I love this place for the consistent food and friendly service. Highly recommended!
The Mister and I came here on a whim. First let me tell you that you cannot park right in front of their business on the street, as that is a no parking zone, yet we save a few people doing just that. Risky, but you do you boo. There is a garage on the backside that we park in and it's easy breezy. The atmosphere is really nice inside, so I felt kind of bad that I didn't put any effort into dressing the part and instead came in some work out shorts and a tank top. But they did not mind. LOL.
We ordered the Piola meatballs, which are a meal in themselves. For the pizza, we ordered the Diavolo. What I thought was odd was they don't have pepperoni, it's more like salami, but it tasted great! The crust was thin and the pizza was very delicious.
They have a full bar, too, and we did order drinks. It was a great meal that I am certain we will partake in again!
I have been eating at Piola regularly for more than a year. The food is amazing! I generally start off with a beer and their Eggplant Parmesan. It is likely the best I've ever eaten anywhere. Then eat one of their amazing salads and a pizza. The Houston is my favorite pizza. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.
Piola consistently delivers on well priced, tasty Italian food. I've had their pizzas on multiple occasions and they were very good.
On this night, I had their pasta and it was one of the best pastas that I've had in Houston. Eggplant parmesan is a go to for me at an Italian restaurant and this was very well prepared.
There are enough options here for a vegetarian to find something good to eat.
The staff is efficient, friendly and very helpful. They're happy to adjust things and even do something that's off menu.
On the night that I was there with two friends, it seemed like there was one waitress only but she did a spectacular job of ensuring that we were well taken care of. I will continue to go to Piola. This is one place that has maintained it's quality and good customer service over the years.
