I understand the reviews… not the most authentic Indian or Egyptian thing or other Mediterranean restaurant, BUT you can’t beat it if you are looking for a quick bite and don’t want to break the bank. Good portion sizes, healthy food, awesome staff. The recipes are decent. Much better than what I can do!
If I had family and friends and we were coming off of a hike, this would be a great spot. Open air covered seating, good music, good vibes. Easy access.
LOTS of choices. The green salads are tasty as all as their accompanying homemade salad dressings.
I was blown away by their Moroccan chicken. My husband ordered their beef gyro and ended up finishing my plate instead, haha! Upgrade the side to one of their deli salads. You won’t regret it!
The food was flavorful and healthier than a lot of options in Hawaii. If you’re getting a salad, just make sure that they give you a variety of vegetables. I got an Italian salad that wasn’t well tossed. The Moroccan chicken was tender and flavorful though.
Got the Coconut Lemon Herb Chicken. Was very good couldn't help to take some bites before taking a picture. Really good portions for the price.
Got the chicken coconut curry combo and a big smoothie. Lot of food for the price! And very good, perfect after a long hike.
Stopped here for the first time today after a friend’s recommendation. I got the tandoori chicken with rice, green salad and an avocado salad.
Portions were generous, it did not have spicy flavor, the chicken was well cooked with crispy bits. Both salads were very fresh!
In Hawai’i you can usually tell places how much or little heat you would like.
Me and my husband really enjoyed the food and service. Can’t wait to go back. The chicken plate was $10! Side salad $7.50. For $18 two adults ate a meal we both enjoyed. I am impressed with the fresh food and service.
Now I know why this place often has a line of people waiting.
Great food and great service! I know da spot from the original location so naturally I had to have it at ala Moana. I had a temperature problem with my food and they made it right. Too many choices on the menu is a good thing!
Good food in a beautiful new food court where the old Shirokiya was, across from Macy's Starbucks. Indoor and outdoor seating near 5, yes 5, pokestops (as in Pokemon Go) Da Spot food is good and fairly well priced. The lamb shank was good and had a good portion for the price. Baklava was fresh and tasty. Service is not yet what it could be, but perhaps it's just because they still new in this location.
Omg the food is finger licking good, healthy and very fairly prices . Don’t hesitate go eat their food !
