Thin pizza with crunchy crust and sauce with perfect blend of herbs (in my opinion).
The slice holds beautifully and doesn’t wiggle when holding, ingredients looks fresh (and tastes great!) and the restaurant staff was extremely nice and efficient.
The place looks good and very clean, outside (shaded) sitting area got great through-breeze and there are some games like corn-hole etc.
Fairly price and the small pizza can easily get two ppl happy (well, depending on your appetite... I can eat a family size pizza by my self, but my girlfriend ate half of the small pizza ($15+-) and was very happy with it).
*Major plus is that they got parking!
Food was fantastic, environment was also just as good, local down to earth owners. Chill place solo or with a party! Definitely recommend a try, I’ll be going back.
Good pizza, wings are huge n good... Good little local spot.. I recommend it
Service 5/5 people were really friendly. Ordered at the counter and sat down at a table with a number.
Food 4/5 price for quality. It's pricier than some places but the food is good.
Pizza (duke kahanamoku 12")was thin crust and really good. The crust is good and had just enough toppings. Might try the cheese pizza next time.
Wings really good too, sauce was a little spicy but yummy.
Mama's balls a little dense compared to kahuna pizza's and one was under cooked a bit but the flavor was there.
Sandwich (Dave Shoji)was really good on it's own. Fries is a mix of regular and curly. Ask for ketchup if you need, they have it in the back.
Favorites are the pizza and wings.
It's a really cute place with all their menu items named after a local sports star that made it big. Lots of tasty pizza options to choose from. Also salads and sandwiches. Thin crusted pizzas, huge salads, overall good value for the buck. BYOB.
This place is awesome! One of the best pizzas in town! ...and BYOB! I had such a hard time deciding what to order, but I was not disappointed in any of it and look forward to coming back to try more of the menu.
The Angela Lee pizza is the best! No need to add anything. The lasagna from last night had too much ricotta and pasta but not enough sauce in the inside, making the whole thing rather dry. Both the meat lovers and pineapple pizza needed red pepper flakes for all the flavors to come together. The rolo pizza was ok. I would definitely return for the Angela Lee pizza.
The Rainbow Warrior Pizza and the meatballs are my favorites! I had never had spam on a pizza before and it is delicious! This place is BYOB too, which is nice
Fantastic replacement for the old Bostons. Great thin crust, tasty sauce, and all sorts of interesting combinations. Or make your own of course. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Extremely friendly staff (especially to UH fam.) The pizza is fantastic and affordable on a college budget. 10/10 would recommend
