The staff was so nice and sweet. Not upper class sushi but fair for location and size. $13-$19 for 8 rolls. Also has soft drinks and drinks from Vietnam that I haven’t seen before. Friendliest staff I’ve met.
Came here to order soba bento with California maki and dragon maki. Best out of this world, the best I’ve had so far in Oahu. Not to mention the Taro bubble tea… filling and yummy. Great portion size, a little pricey but this Hawaii.
I’m in crutches due to a fractured foot and as I was waiting, one of the staff came to bring the food out to me at a table. Kudos to her, god bless. Service took me by surprise. I’m definitely coming back :)
Family run business, well that what it seems like anyway. Always delightful and kind. I believe they make to order so it does take a lil bit but it's all worth it. No fountain drinks bottled soda and water only. If you are eating there I recommend you sit outside and enjoy the marina views. Crunch Don is my fiance's fav but I enjoy all the sushi sets and combos! Winnahz...no can go wrong at dis place 🤙
This is probably the best sushi place in the area, but they can have some long wait times and can be pretty pricey.
But, it is a clean and quality sushi hole in the wall.
Love sushiman. great sushi at a decent price.
the Spicy Ahi bowl is great and the tempura maki is delicious.
The Crunch Don was dare I say one of the most delicious dishes I've ever had, ever. The flavor, the crunchy texture, the spices, oh my.
Sushi and Maki were fresh and delicious. Excellent and kind service.
Will be one of first places to drop by next time I am in Oahu!
LOVE this place. The Crunch bowl is the best. It’s a staple in my diet!
I've only been to Sushiman twice, but both times the platters were pretty good. The makizushi was fine, and the nigirizushi was pretty good. Prices are okay -- got a 40 piece deluxe family platter for $28. My most recent visit was in the afternoon on New Year's Eve, and they were absolutely slammed with orders for Dec 31 and Jan 1, so plenty of other people must like the place, too!
If there was something like a perfect union between quality sushi and fast food, I would imagine it to be just like this Sushiman. As a long time resident of Hawaii Kai and connoisseur of food I don't have to prepare myself, this place has been a long standing go-to. Is it the best, highest quality sushi around? No, of course not. But I'm also paying a reasonable price and walking in last minute expecting to wait only about 5-10 minutes for my food to be ready.
Delicious sushi items! I love the Natto spicy don and the dragon maki. Also really appreciate their Beef and Kimchi menu items, as all other sushi places neglect such a wonderful combination. Prices are reasonable, given location and quality. Probably the only considerable sushi facility in Hawaii Kai.
