Drive thru plate lunch! Cash only though. The chicken cutlet is my favorite and I also like to get a side order of mandoo for the kids.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the owner of this place used to work at Rainbow Drive Inn, as others say. This place seems to be the realized ambition of what Rainbow aspires to be. About the same price as Rainbow but with the option of mini size, and imo the food tastes better, has a more manageable amount of gravy, and the gravy is tastier. I got the regular boneless chicken, very good food. The mac salad was good too. And I got my food in seconds since they have everything pre-made to serve the drive thru. Highly recommend.
It's surprisingly great food for very reasonable prices. Portions are more than adequate. Used drive-through option for my lunch break. From arriving at order window to driving away with the food took less than 20 minutes. Food is hot and yummy!! Sodas nice and bubbly!! Will definitely come back!
They use to be my go to for lunch but lately the portions have gotten smaller but the food is still good. Don't go as often but still go.
Aloha from da Bigpake; this has got to. E one of the best plate lunch places on Oahu... story has it that the owner previously worked at Rainbows Drive Inn.. but just a story. But the only other place that I know that makes boneless breaded chicken with brown gravy and damn it's Ono. They also make great bbq cheese burgers and have my favorite Green River soda. Give it a try if your in the area.
Best plate lunches. Teri pork is the Bomb! Chili plate is delicious too. Fast happy service.
Local plate lunches at its finest. No crowds. Drive thru available. Excellent prices. Guava smoked ribs, get em. Classic chili dog plate is my fave. Seating indoors, one table outside.
The gravy is So good! 2 scoops of rice, and Mac salad. It's a very good Mac salad.. This plate was enough to share with somebody- but next time I order extra Mac salad👌🏼 cuz I could've ate all by myself😁
good place to eat, wouldn't recommend the beef stew though, ordered it and got like 1 carrot, 1 potato, and 3 small pieces of meat, but other than that its a solid 7.2/10
Local plate lunch comfort food. Busy place frequented by all locals. Friendly service with a smile. 4% added fee if using credit card.
Love this place. Great plate lunch and if your curious about Filipino food this is a great place to start. Pork gisantes is definitely the one here.
