We LOVE Palama Supermarket!! This was our go-to spot for awesome meals and Asian groceries during our time in Oahu. Not only do you get great prices on fresh produce, their food court also serves up super delicious bentos at more than affordable prices! The location on Makaloa St (not this one on N King St) also has stalls for sushi, Korean fried chicken, and coffee/waffles/binsoo, but we didn't try those. We went straight for the Korean bento offerings. Simply put, if you're a fan of Korean food and are in the Honolulu area, you HAVE TO come to Palama Supermarket!! 10 stars!!
korean food, bentos and korean sushi. Also, in the back they have plate lunches. About $10 and up. Decent price. The BBQ chicken not that great too dry. Everything else is good if you like spicy. I love the spicy pork plate $10.
This is a small Korean market with great Asian products and produce for all your Asian dishes. The Korean side dishes that you get at the restaurants can also be bought to take home. They also sell Korean sushi and bentos with fish and chicken. It has a deli where you can buy Korean food to go or to sit and eat. This is one of two locations on oahu. Go early, because parking can be a problem with their small parking lot.
LOTS of great grab n go foods! And lots of other interesting foods. Just wish I could read and understand all the labels🤔 Free parking, but depending on location, could be crowded. The Honolulu one is busy, I like going to the Kalihi one
Had to search for the passion fruit honey tea. Finally found it AND apple honey tea, too. Of course there’s the kim bap and namul with all the other deli foods. Purchased many vegetables for the bbq! Can’t make the same bulgogi sauce so I bought some for marination. Time to eat!
from the kitchen in the back of the store in kalihi, I tried the kim chee stew. It came with a big quart container of stew and a full plate of rice and Kim chee. What a bargain for only $10. If you also pick up a package of ready to go fish yun or bulgogi, it makes it a complete feast.
Good market for Korean food. Nice reasonably priced take out restaurant that's located inside the market
Good place to get Korean food, dry, frozen, and fresh, and good assortment of bentos. Lots of parking, prices are reasonable.
Great Korean food at reasonable price available inside. Good selection of Korean foods and goods.
Great place to get your Korean ingredients - the take-out kiosk is okay. The curious thing is the food prep here is inferior to their Kaheka location. Always leave the Kaheka location thinking what a great affordable meal. Here, just meh. Same menu. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
