We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village and was looking for breakfast before our hike at Diamond Head. Stumbled upon CJ's and gave this cute little place a try. I had the Triple Play, which included samplings of their loco moco, pancakes and eggs benny. Was a great combo!! Was too much food but definitely enjoyed it.
Located within Hilton's Hawaiian village, CJs has a huge range of New York deli styled food. From pancakes to pastrami Reuben's to hearty burgers, there's definitely something to satisfy everyone.
I had the chilli beef hotdog w a side of French fries and coleslaw while my friend had a pastrami Reuben. Both were delicious and very well priced given its location. Service was good - water always topped up and knowledgeable too.
I'd highly recommend anyone around to give this place a go! Seating area is quite big and relatively clean so not much to lose!! :-)
Breakfast was outstanding. I had the three eggs, Portuguese sausage and crispy hash browns. Everything was cooked perfectly.
I had the eggs with mushrooms and onions and it was delicious. My daughter had pancakes and loved them. My other daughter had pancakes which were undercooked in the middle. We sent them back and everything was great.
I Actually Had Great Experience. I'm glad I haven't read the reviews here prior to having breakfast. Service was fast, the omelet was delicious and my coffee mug was periodically refilled. On top of that, we made a mistake when calculating the tip - overstating the total. They were honest and corrected it, although they could have earned another $8 or so on that meal.
Service is bad, food rocks. This place has consistently served some of the best sandwiches in Honolulu. My wife works at the Hilton Hawaiian Village and probably eats here once a week. The sandwiches are pretty expensive, but if you can finish the whole thing, you are a big eater. The service here sucks however. The breakfasts are good too.
We were expecting an average deli but were pleasantly surprised with great tasting food friendly FAST service and good chats with the bartender!
I had the Sadie Loves It vegetarian sandwich, it was soooo good! Eggplant with feta, cucumber, tomato, spinach, red pepper, and special mayo was a great combination, didn't even miss the meat 🤭 I had with a side of sweet potato fries- they gave me a mountain!! I had a bite of my daughter's hamburger with cheese, it was delicious like something you would find at an upscale burger place! Order of kids buttermilk dollar pancakes was tasty and satisfied the kiddo. The place was busy but turned around tables quickly. Also surprising was how quickly they were able to serve us on such a busy Sunday night- 5 stars just for that. The entire staff was friendly. Overall, we loved it. Family friendly and good selection of food! Thanks for the attention and the good eats 😋 🥪🍔🍟🥞
Hawaiian version of a classic NYC Deli. Well sort of anyways. Great breakfast. The Triple play is worth the sample. Beverages are also something special, get the Itch.
Friendly service even at a busy time. I had the Triple play. The loco Moco was very good and the pancakes were too! The Benedict was okay. I love that you can get breakfast all day.
We thought this was a solid breakfast place with delicious food. It gets busy but our server was very sweet and took great care of us. Food was good just not memorable. Come check this place out.
If you're so over having Hawaiian cuisine and have some hankering for really robust, hearty deli style food, then this comes very close. Large servings, not too expensive and delicious sammiches. Good service but the place does get really busy during peak hours, so be patient while waiting for a table to open up or while waiting for your order to arrive. They do up some choices with a Hawaiian twist.
Has mainland and traditional Hawaiian food. Deli sandwiches and breakfast served all day. Rueban piled high and grilled deliciously. Ask for crispy fries, they were good.
Food was good and outdoor seating very nice, close to many stores and beach
Good breakfasts. The Haupia French toast was perfectly cooked. Crispy and NOT soggy on the inside like at the Bali. That was yuck. Service was great. They are run off their feet but everyone was still happy.
Good brunch and deli place at the hilton hawaiian village area. Good selection of dishes. Food tastes good. Lots of local cuisine options too. It's expensive to dine here but then again which place isn't in Waikiki. Good place to eat outside resort restaurants and you don't have to even leave the area.
We love CJ's! It's usually our first stop after a long flight and checking in to our condo. The food is very good. Omelettes are excellent. The lunch/dinner menu has a wide variety to choose from and it's all good. Staff is friendly. It can get really crowded, so plan your visit for a time that's a little before or after the usual mealtimes.
