Our waiter Luca was awesome, absolutely on top of his game. More importantly the food was amazing as always. I stop here ever time I am through Yellowstone.
We flew into Chicago this afternoon and started driving to the Indiana dunes. On our way to the dunes we stopped at the Hinsdale tollway oasis. So look, I'm from seattle. We don't have places like these so I think this was super cool. We went there to get coffee but it turns out Starbucks hasn't been there for awhile, but they had other cool places to eat and get coffee (McDonald's hooked us up in that area though so thank you Doodles!).
It was a good area to rest and eat and I enjoyed myself there :)
Great stop on the highway. Good amount of parking for cars, can be tight for truckers and RVs. Bathrooms are nice but NEED CLEANING! They were a mess when I went in. I get it truckers can be in a rush but cmon keep them clean.
Plenty of areas to sit and eat. Good amount of restaurant it being an oasis. Nice info center for information about local areas.

Truck parking can be like hitting the lottery, but if you can get a spot, they have all kinds of food options. This is a shared plaza so both north and south bound people can meet in the middle of the plaza that is suspended above the interstate. They have the chairs and tables taped off unfortunately.
What an unexpected surprise, truly is an oasis off a crowded and busy highway. Too bad people are so afraid to come out, all the shops are probably going to close down because of covid fear. Parked here overnight for my 10 hr break and was super excited to have some Italian food for dinner.

Ample, well lit and clean Tollway Oasis / Rest Stop with fast food restaurants from KFC to McDonald's. The doors in men's bathroom stalls don't latch! Please fix for privacy and safety concerns.
