Marriott is the place to stay. Everything is well kept and clean. The rooms (we had a 2 bedroom) are big, clean and updated. Indoor heated pool and hot tub available. There were outdoor pools and lawn games. Short walk to the beach.
Great resort. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The kitchens were nice, and the living space was very nice. Very nice access to the ocean. And pools and hot tubs all were very nice.
I’m very picky when it comes to where I stay when I travel. The Barony was SUPER, SUPER CLEAN and fresh. The couch felt new and firm. I felt comfortable allowing my 1 year to play freely around the room. Nothing was dingy. 10/10 recommend. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!
Huge very clean well appointed rooms on a very nicely manicured property. Had a retirement community feel however I'm sure that changes depending on time of year. Beautiful pool, walking access to the huge beautiful beach.
We have owned this Marriott timeshare since 2005 and couldn't be more happy with our purchase. Originally purchased to avoid having two kids and two adults in a hotel room but it has turned into a second home. Quiet area, great beach, rooms are well kept and have anything you could ask for, always a spot at one of the 4 pools, etc.
The rooms are clean and spacious. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The beach access and restaurant are both located at the main buildings. There is a bit of walk if you stay at that garden side. This hotel is also a distance from the middle of town as well as sea pines area. It is a wonderful facility, just depends on what you are looking for.
Barony has everything you need and want in a resort. The villas are spacious, clean, renovated, well laid out, and well appointed. The ocean front and ocean side units have quick access to the beach, pools, and activities, and the garden units have their own pool and activities and are only a short walk to the beach (cut through next to the Westin).
The staff is always helpful, and there's so much to do, especially for kids. There are events every day, and there are both indoor and outdoor pools.
I've owned timeshare since 1984. Marriot Barony Beach Hilton Head is the highest rated resort from my perspective that I have ever exchanged in to. All staff at all levels were very welcoming and made you feel like Barony Beach was your home for that week. Caitlyn at the front desk was very accommodating along with all the front desk staff. The resort was impeccably maintained. Our unit was bright, well furnished, and high appliances were modern. The TVs were equipped with the latest APP TECH. The location is fabulous right at the beach and the entire pool facility is wonderful. The courtyard view that we had was ever relaxing and endearing. Well done Marriot and well done Barony Beach location. PS: We stayed mid November - 2023, it was quiet and weather was fine.
This really is such an amazing place to take your family or go with friends and family. I have been going with family for years, and now I take my own. The rooms are great and comfortable, and we love being able to cook in a full kitchen. Also, the pool and beach are great and they plan great kids' activities.
Great selection of venues, pools, spa, exercise room and restaurants. Staff was accommodating. Nice selection of events for adults and kids. Loved the ocean views.
