My daughter and I were in town and needed a quick bite but we're tired of the usual fast food garbage. We found this lovely spot and had the chicken bacon ranch Stromboli's and fried pickles. If we're ever in the area again this is where we'll dine. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was awesome!
The best Stromboli around. And a great selection of craft and traditional beers. Bartender Jason can recommend the right beer for your taste.
Food was AMAZING. Service was amazing. Place itself is amazing. So well worth it. We live in Folsomville and definitely worth the drive.
We ordered a medium All Meat pizza. The server brought us a Supreme. We made her aware of the mistake and she immediately put the correct pizza order in. A bit later, she came back to check on us and to apologize again. I told her it was no big deal, and I joked that the other pizza looked so good that I wished I could have tried a slice. When our All Meat pizza came out, she also brought out the Supreme in a box for us to take home for free. Both were delicious! Plus, the outdoor patio was so nice.
Easy to find, great location on the Ohio riverfront in downtown Henderson. Friendly attentive staff, great Pizza!, nice outdoor seating with plenty of indoor accommodavtion as well, a nice place to take the family or on a date
Great food and service with a beautiful view of the river. My new favorite restaurant came from Illinois for your world famous stromboli! I saw world famous universe. Wonderful waitress and excellent experience.
I have waited to write this, because we always go to the one in Robards. The times that we have gone downtown to the one on the river and ordered the Stromboli it seemed like they just weren’t getting it right. Sometimes the dough was way too thick on the ends. It’s still tasted good, it just was not the same as the original. Well this time they got it right. So maybe someone has said something or the training has paid off. The flavor has been similar and is finally to the point where it taste the same as the original, and they’re actually fill the Stromboli the way the one in Robards does. The pizza is consistent, and has a great flavor. But if you find yourself going to Rockhouse, do yourself a favor and order the Stromboli the original to be exact. You will not be upset.
Firstly, let me start this off by saying the staff was extremely friendly and really made the experience great! My waitress was incredibly kind and when I let her know I was in from out of town she sat down for a minute and wrote out some great places around town for me to try.
As for the food, the stromboli was delicious and was reason enough to return. The pizza was tasty as well, so you can't really go wrong.
Overall, I'd say this was a great place and I'd definitely come back!
