Great food great service. Geeat salsa, best Chichanga Ive ever had. Superb service, a favorite whenever we stay at Lake Las Vegas. Reasonable prices sitting right on LakeLas Vegas. LLove it!
Love It!. My fiancee and I head to Sonrisa every time we visit Las Vegas, which seems to be about once a month! We love Frank the bartender! It is the perfect restaurant for our family get-togethers! The service is superb and the food is always good, but we all go for the atmosphere. We love the Montelago Village and we've been trying to move out to Lake Las Vegas for the last year! I don't know why there have been so many poor reviews on the place! Yes, it is pricier than Roberto's, but I can't tell you enough about how much our whole family loves Sonrisa! The live music on Saturdays is what we live for! See you this Saturday!

I just wanted to let you know that I had dinner at Sonrisa a couple of weeks ago. We sat in the bar area and had a few drinks with our dinner. All of your employees were great, the food was delicious and the whole experience was perfect. The bartender was very friendly, made excellent drinks, even introduced us to a new tequila.

Best Mex. I have eaten at hundreds of Mexican restaurants in my life so I have seen and tasted it all! I must testify that Sonrisa at Monte Lago Village, Lake Las Vegas is by far the BEST MEX there is, including Mexico! Chef Tim is basically an organic chef and uses fresh, healthy ingredients while making his dishes taste fabulous! His wife Chanthy runs a "tight ship" and her ever smiling glowing persona joyfully greets us everytime! The wait staff and bar tenders are super efficient and really on top of things. Basically, it is the best for Mex! WELL worth the short drive for a great meal. PS, try the Ahi Tuna salad..WOW!
AMAZING BLEND OF SPICES. No matter the dish, the spices are perfectly blended for a rewarding taste-- be it seafood (my favorite!), chicken, beef or pork! Simply amazing! Restaurant decor couldn't be more true-- adds to the ambiance! Great specials, holiday surprises! They truly aim to please!
Excellent Food, Excellent Setting. Sonrisa Grill is a great addition to MonteLago Villge. I've been going to the Village for years but found there was a lack of mid-range dining options. You either got high end or fast food type dining. Sonrisa is the perfect in between option. The bar is great for meeting friends for drinks and I always bring my out of towners for lunch or dinner. We've never been disappointed with a single dish and most everyone has agreed it's some of the best Mexican food they've ever had. The main dining room is so beautiful but every time I've been there I find myself sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. The firepit and outdoor heaters are perfect now that the weather is cooling off. Well, gotta go. Have company visiting for the weekend. Guess where we are heading for lunch? Yes, Sonrisa. The food is fresh and flavorful with good portions and good value for my money.
The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and fun. They have comfortable inside seating, very themed for Mexican/Southwest. Sonrisa's outdoor seating can be in view of the bar/lounge with the game or special event on or next to a nice fire pit.
I look forward to future dining experiences at Sonrisa Grill.
Excellent, Healthy and Fun!. Sonrisa Grill is a great place to bring a group of friends, sit outside, lakeside, sip a variety (over70!) of Tequila drinks and munch on healthy tapas. Sonrisa Grill and 3 Amigos Tequila Bar gets the crowd moving with upbeat music and salsa lessons. The Sea Bass and Salmon dishes are outstanding and their salsa and chipotle sauce are the best this side of the border...Sonrisa Grillis a must do at Lake Las Vegas!
