Tacos were fresh but I’ve had more extravagant fish tacos. However, the sauce provided was so spicy and tasty! Absolute great stop while visiting the North Shore!
Best tacos hands down!!!! Pineapple salsa was amazing as well! My kids are picky eaters and they loved this place! Two boys ages 6 and 4 spilt a chicken quesadilla so Your money goes pretty far !!
I loved the shrimp tacos, ordered fish taco also. I'm personally not a fan of fish tacos so can't really say but my partner loved them. Staff is friendly, try the sauce if you like a little spice. The only annoying thing are the chickens, if you are not careful they will steal your food. They are ruthless.
We got a shrimp taco, a fish taco, and a pineapple tiki. All of them tasted pretty good. It took a long time to prepare after ordering. The atmosphere was also pretty hectic/interesting since chickens are running around and will steal your food if you aren’t paying attention.
Absolutely delicious. Everyone in our group was completely satisfied with their entrees. The flavors are incredible. The staff is very nice as well. The chickens and roosters wandering around we're adorable as well.
Pretty nice taco truck right next to some beautiful North Shore beach scenery. I ordered a chicken burrito and a bottle of water, altogether it came out to $20 which is pretty typical for a food truck in Hawaii so I can't really fault them for that, you pay for the locale. The burrito was decent, very full, but the chicken was a bit dry. Which is why I had to knock a star off. The sauces redeemed it a bit by being pretty great. All in all worth it if you're in the area.
Loved it. Had pork tacos plate and a chicken burrito plate. Both were excellent. Try the sauces! The hot one is really hot so go easy...but sooo good.
Also, great venue, plenty of parking, lots of outdoor seating, and a nice view of Shark's Cove across the street.
Everything was packed with flavor and fresh. We had chicken quesadillas with rice and black beans and fish tacos with chips. The guacamole and salsa was amazing. I don’t know where the bad reviews are coming from because we didn’t experience any of that. We dined in after leaving Sunset Park. The food was served quickly, the staff was nice and there’s a nice seating area.
We passed this place on our way to Sunset Beach, and had to stop on the way back. It's a cool little gathering of food trucks, with a good variety of tasty foods available.
We stopped at the shrimp truck first and then the taco truck, and sat at the pavilions of tables across from the beach. It's slight expensive, but the food is absolutely amazing and it's worth it for the experience.
The beach across the street is beautiful, with a rock sea wall about 30 feet out, so you get to see huge swells and breaks while being able to get pretty close to the ocean. Beware, the water does occasionally come ALL the way up the beach, so do not underestimate the risks you take to witness the immense power of the ocean.
If you're passing this way, it's worth a stop. There are a few other trucks in the lot, a burger truck, and a shaved ice stand, and possibly more.
Fun spot we like to visit while at sharks cove. The food is perfect after a few hours of swimming/beach. A few chickens/roosters roam freely which is fun to watch while eating. Some people get quite weirded out by them. While there a lady was literally standing on her seat (picnic tables) which was quite entertaining to watch.
