I must say, going into Tolly's I didn't expect much more than the usual bar food but boy was I wrong! Between massive burgers, awesomely crispy boneless chicken wings(aka chicken tenders for how big they were) and very friendly staff this place was a delight. Also if you are looking for a 2lb Applewood pork chop look no further! Despite being so large it was perfectly cooked. Topped off with excellently seasoned fries overall a 5/5 experience. Will definitely be returning if only for those wings!
First experience was a good one. I stopped in for a late lunch at about 2:30pm. The restaurant was not very crowded and I sat at the bar and was waited on right away be the friendly bar tender. They also had most of the appetizers at 50% for happy hour. I ordered the Italian salad and it was very good and huge. The menu is large and they have plenty of daily specials. I will be back to try some more.
This place needs no introduction if you are a local. Hands down amazing value and quality food you will not get anywhere else at this price point. At least not in America! The tenders are homemade and amazing. I usually dislike tenders but these are truly home made breaded fried boneless chickens. The wings are excellent and I love wings, but really go boneless here as they are amazing even for a traditional wing lover. Spicy garlic sauce is perfect. The smoked pork chop is pretty much a holiday ham in size and is tastey. The sandwiches can be described as flavorful footballs. The onion soup. Oh my. The onion soup is the best I ever had and this is with me eating onion soup coast to coast at hundreds of establishments. So damn good Eeyore lost his tail in flavorful tail spinning excitement. And the meatballs might as well be a trough of meatloaf's full of saucey goodness. Seriosuly folks. What is not to love here other than you can plan to wait for a seat at anything near prime time feeding hours. The place is just too small to accommodate the crowds of locals and folks from out of town that will drive over an hour to dine here! Yes, it's worth the drive and even Eeyore might have been cheery after his visit here.Come and join the feeding frenzy. This place sets the benchmark for what a true American diner should be when it comes to food and value.
What can I say? A lot! From the time we walked in we were greated by a wonderful staff. The place was very busy and we had a wait, but it was very worth the wait. Our waitress Kelly was absolutely wonderful! Such a wonderful menu! I ordered Irish Meatballs and they were amazing!! It may be a drive, but we will be returning!
Very busy,. We stopped while traveling through. Service was excellent. Large menu, I had steak and mushroom sub. My wife had the pastrami/ corn beef sub. She really liked it. The flavor of my sub was great. The steak was tough and the sub was so soggy I had to use fork and knife. Biggest complaint from me was the " way too huge" servings. We'll probably stop again next time we're in town but be more aware of what we order.
Awesome pizza great service reasonable prices! And despite being busy wait time wasn't so bad.
Awesome overall experience! Our waitress was wonderful, the FOOD OMG was perfectly prepared for everyone in our group, we each shared because the portions are HUGE & everything tasted great. I absolutely recommend eating here. I'm having leftovers for lunch 😋
The smoked pork chop dinber that my wife had was huge and delicious. I had the sirloin steak special which was only "OK". It had good flavor but was not hot and was fairly tough. We enjoyed our experience here but I will avoid the steak next trip.
