I had the philly cheesesteak sandwich for lunch today. It was by far the BEST I have ever had, and I have had quite a few in my day. First of all, the bread was fresh and soft, the sandwich was hot, and full of flavor. What impressed me the most was the steak. It was real steak, not the kind you get from a bag in the freezer section of the grocery store and microwave. The bell peppers and mushrooms were cooked to perfection. It was a large sandwich, but I ate every bite! I am a happy girl. I can't wait to go again! 5 STARS!!

Wonderful place! Tables are nicely spaced, lots of local & home made stuff to buy. Lunch is delicious! Got the Philly Cheese steak & it was fabulous! Ordered my mom the archer & absolutely loved it! The cheesecake in the fridge is also divine! A must go to! The environment is fantastic!
The team at Downtown Butcher is fantastic! I live in California but I grew up in Greenville. My family takes me here for lunch every time I’m home. The food is great.
I’ve also had them cater lunches for my dads office and make casseroles for sick family members. They go above and beyond each time!
