I have been going to this place for over 15 years and have always had a good time. The food has improved tremendously over the years since the original owners sold it and it is a fun place to enjoy a wide variety of live music. Kudos to Christy's!
How have I never reviewed Christy's before? Amazing food, the staff treat each other and their customers like family, and it's as cozy as your living room.
Great Food/Hit or Miss Atmosphere. Food was great. I've been there a few times. Their service is average. However the atmosphere is hit or miss. Depending on the time and day you might be able to hold a conversation with your dinner date.
Everything is simply amazing! After you eat here, nothing else compares!
Tried the Carolina steak sandwich, which included pepper jack cheese and pulled pork on a hoagie roll. Also tried the cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese phenomenal! I also had a few Black and Tan... Will definitely be back!!!

What's it like?. This club is really nice. It was established in 1923 during prohibition, and was a major hangout for Irish Imigrant sailers and bootleggers as well as a major rally point for wayward gypsies on their way to the ocean to collect sea turtles, which were plentiful and not at all endangered back in those days. As you can imagine there were many discrepancies with the law back then. But thats just the way it was. As long as you were handy with a sword, you could do as you liked. Of course I could go on on and on about the warlock trials and the haunted burial ground the pub was eventually built on, but I dont want to scare you. You seem like a nice person. Nowadays everything on the above ground levels is legit and the pub is comepletely registered and insured. I have been on the roof several times, and while there aren't any couches to sit on, I find it suited my purposes. I don't know what they do in the basement, but thats none of our business. Is it? What happens in Christy's basement is for management and God to worry about. If you go there, make sure you wear your finest and put on makeup and show plenty of cleavage, because the front and the rear door are gaurded by large men Face Controllers behind velvet ropes who only respond to the well to do and the more attractive people. Just inside the first level there is a waterfall, and a pretty nice pool. The second story is basicly a large dance floor and some of the top DJ's have been known to fly in from Paris just to show off there for a night and then crash at Aaron's house. When Daft Punk played there I was approached numerous time by Peter Berg. He offered me a part on his newest endeavor, Battleship The Movie. I declined because I felt like he was only trying to sleep with me. He seems like a nice enough guy, but I'm just not ready to get back out there and date again, after just losing my fiance to a fatal dolphin attack. Basicly, if you want to be in the know and know how to pick up hot chicks, this is it.
Great pub faire. The trick with Christy's is too like it for what it is. It's good, cheap food and a decent beer selection with drink specials and 5 dollar meal specials thrown in for good measure. I read a review on another site in which they complain about the beer temp. I have never had this problem and I've downed many a pint there. The bartenders don't go out of their way too be overly solicitous or "fake friendly", but i don't see that as a problem, their polite and prompt. The Cheesesteaks are talked about by all who have been there and are a 5 dollar special on Thursdays

Christy's has a surprisingly good food selection for a pub. I enjoy their food and their prices are exceptionally reasonable. Do not hesitate to go out and try the food there!
Four dollar specials, a student's best friend seven days a week.
This was our first visit to Christy's. Service was quick to get drinks and order. Our food took about 15 minutes. The inside of the restaurant is fairly small and there is a legit bar. They do have outside seating. We ate outside and the flies were horrible. The ac is right next to the outside eating area and there was standing water which may have contributed. We really enjoyed our food. We had pretzels with pimento cheese, a garden salad, Blackened shrimp salad, and the smokehouse burger. We all enjoyed our food. The salads were very fresh.
Wow! I cannot get over how good the food was here. Tucked away off the main roads, Christy’s is a must for those that are in Greenville. The fried pickles were like no other. They were battered perfectly and had the best crunch. The Carolina Peach sandwich was recommended to me by our waitress and it was the perfect combination of savory and sweet. I had a bite of the bison sliders and will probably be getting them the next time I come. The atmosphere is kind of funky, but in a good way. It felt very welcoming. The sanitation score wasn’t the best, but I wasn’t bothered by it.
Brunch on Sunday was great!!! Can you believe me if I say I've lived here for 14 years and this was my first time experience????!!! Def won't be the last either!
I recommend arriving at least 15 mins before opening at 11. Get out of your car and stand in line behind the door. Trust me, the line will be long lol. Its basically first come first serve. Small area inside and out but the experience and food was worth it.
I got the Chicken and Waffles, Cajun Sweet Potatoes (yall got to try them fries oh my world!!!) my Husband got the Smoked Pork Shoulder Hash.
Our Waitress was superb in attending everyone's needs on the patio and checked up on us all often.
I couldn't even finish my food bc I was so full lol. Can't wait to be back to try the different menu items!!
This place is my absolute favorite spot! The food is always amazing and so is the service!!! If you’re thinking about coming here, do it !
Stopped in for lunch. The Reuben and cheese steak sandwiches were delicious. Loved the Cajun sweet potato fries! Thanks for the great service!
Cool place. Just right. Had pulled pork egg rolls fo app. Delicious. Had a braised duck sandwich for entree. Never had a sandwich like that before. Outstanding.

This place has a fantastic outdoor eating area. Indoor is nice too but the weather is warming up! The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and informative. The place was clean, including the bathrooms which is important lately. Lastly, what a menu! It was has to decide. The food we did order was incredible and we can't wait to go back to try more!!
Great service and great food. Good pricing. I will return. I love that they have brunch and outdoor seating.
