Just stopped by for some appetizers and too check out their menu. The gater was wonderful and the homemade chips on the crawfish nachos was out of this world. Will be back for their Thursday night oyster special real soon.
UPDATE;
I realize there claim to fame is their steamer baskets, but the chef sure knows his/her way around a fryer! Got the oysters on this trip and was some of the best I’ve had. Crisp, lightly seasoned, and so juicy like the liquor had been fried inside the breading. So,so good.
The name change and remodel (see updated photos) is a nice addition as well. Enjoy
The atmosphere,waitresses were great and patient with us being it was our first time. The food was great also definitely will return.

Wow this place is amazing to say the least! It is the only place that I know of that sells alligator. I was a little bit hesitant to give it a try, but my server insisted to not be scared of it, and brought me out a few pieces go try. You would be surprised if you've never tried it, you should go give it a try! The atmosphere is pretty relaxing and not over overcrowded. I give this place a 5 star rating to be tried by everyone! The alligator is in the pictures I took that looked like shrimp.
Great service and food! My husband and I went there to celebrate our 6th year anniversary. We got the crab dip And mussels for starters, both were AWESOME. I was very impressed with the mussels as they give you quite a bit. I ordered the gumbo for my entree which was really good. Comes with sausage, shrimp, and tilapia, each wete seasoned to perfection. My husband ordered the crab legs and sirloin entree. All of the food was really great and the waiter was awesome!
This place is as close to New Orleans cuisine as North Carolinians are going to get. The General Manager Matt takes great pride in this restaurant. He will go out of his way to make sure your dining experience is the most pleasurable one. I have included photos of my families meals and I would highly recommend for starters the Crawfish nachos. The food was delicious and plated delightfully. When you visit this establishment make sure you ask for Josh as your waiter as he is an excellent server and attends to your every need. Love this place and will return frequently.
