My go to for take out since I moved to Kentwood! Hope they reopen dining one day! Only thing i have to say is they could probably improve tbe fried rice quality somewhat.
This is the BEST place for Chinese food in Grand Rapids! Always friendly and fast! Food has never ever been a disappointment! Seems like everytime I go there it gets better and I'm happy to see others when I'm there now!
This is great, traditional, Chinese food. Reasonable price and Authentic. Good portions and made right as you order. A hidden gem in the Forest Hills.
The food is just as amazing as the wonderful family that runs the place! Every thing is very good, especially the steamed dumplings! Support this local gem and the family that own it!

The Chop Suey that I had was just OK. The Sweet & Sour Chicken that my wife had was excellent. The chicken was crispy, even though in was in a plastic container. Her Crab Ragoons were huge. We will try them again soon.
the food here is amazing especially crab ragoon. It is splendid. The owner is also very nice. I would come back here for sure!!
I like the food here. The food is what you would expect at a Chinese buffet (they no longer have a buffet only take out).
So this review is just for take out, I've never eaten in. I've been satisfied with everything I've ordered. Chinese food is hard to review, because everyone has their preference. But I've ordered Chinese food from restaurants that cost twice as much, and tasted the same or worse. I was bummed that China Garden didn't have teriyaki chicken. But their BBQ chicken (I just like saying "chicken on a stick") is so crispy in a good way, that I want all my "chicken on a stick" to be like theirs! Also, they were open in a massive, everyone shut down everything, snow storm. So, I'll drive out of my way to go here.
Only 8.50 for an adult dinner. Great Chinese buffet. Yum.
