Had a great experience here with all staff involved in the drive through. Out of all McDonalds I’ve been to the staff here ranks super high with me. The food was maybe a 6 out of 10
This McDonald’s location has consistently ranked above every other location I’ve been too locally by far. First off, they have a playland. Second, said play land is always clean and well maintained. Third, the staff is friendly and helpful, and fourth, the food is exactly what you expect for McDonald’s. Overall highly recommend this location, mostly because they seem to actually care, which is more than can be said for many McDonald’s locations I’ve been to. The friendly staff who go above and beyond to provide speedy service will keep us coming back here over other locations.
Great play center for kids. No shoes allowed so you'll need to bring your child socks to wear. Socks are required. Is great for our 2 and 4 yr olds. Lots of room to play.
The workers at the McDs on Plainfield Ave Grand Rapids are really just the nicest. The manager Tasha? I think, is really the sweetest person. Tash always remembers us and remembers my mom's absurd Mcafe order....
The restrooms are clean and the orders are usually right. Sometimes my mom's Mcafe special order is wrong, but I can't blame them for that. She's old and crotchety and her order is irrationally specific. 😏🙄🙄😂
The kids area is obnoxiously loud when I'm there....(95% of that noise is emanating from my three kids who feel like they have to scream everything to each other in that migraine inducing echo chamber)
Bring Advil.
We came through the drive thru and didn't get our whole order - no biggie, we didn't even check until we were home, and the food was very fresh anyway. I went today and got the rest of my order, which was also very fresh. I'm pretty impressed, I've worked a lot of QSRs and this one is efficient, had great customer service, and the best part was definitely the food, I haven't had fries this good in a while, you can tell they actually maintenance their fryers. We appreciate the team members at this location!
Also the lemonade is amazing, thanks to the person that recommended it :)
Food is always good quality for fast food! The staff is very friendly and they work extra hard to take care of the customers. My only complaint is that mobile orders usually take 15-20 minutes to get out to you after arriving (as opposed to the typical 5 minutes they state on the app). Otherwise, I highly recommend this location!
I don't know if it was just the right place at the right time, but I've never had such a perfect experience at a McDonald's. Call me cheesy but it was shocking enough to make me do this review.
I went for a quick dinner pickup, the staff were very patient and courteous. There were practically zero communication problems to speak of. The order was made exactly as we asked. The food was hot and just about as good as I've had out of any McDonald's prior. My experience is usually the exact opposite of this.
It is my hope, that the excellent employees of this particular shift receive some kind of an incentive, or at the very least some appropriate recognition. For a commonplace fast food restaurant, the experience on this evening 9/13/22 was a perfect example of business excellence.

I accidentally left my keys at the counter. The woman helping me noticed and brought them out to the play area where my daughter was playing. Thank you for your amazing service !
