Great thin crispy crust, flavorful toppings and stretchy melty cheese. It's like a 10x better version of famous ray's in NYC. If you like it sauced you might want to ask for extra, but we liked ours as-is.
The vegan pizza was so good I couldn't tell it was vegan.
Fills a need in GR. It's a small business making great Detroit style pies, with fresh ingredients. It's worth a visit for sure.
I'm not allowed to give 5 stars because I'm from Detroit and those ratings are not available for pizza outside of the city limits.

I was excited when I saw that this place opened and was offering Detroit-style deep dish. Buddy's Pizza is one of the few things I've consistently missed since moving to GR from the Detroit area years ago.
I've ordered from here a couple of times and had different experiences in terms of the quality of the pizza.
Both times I've gotten take-out of the deep-dish style with three toppings and the sauce on top.
The first time it tasted good, but was a hot mess to look at and handle and was a bit of a disappointment. Not sure what happened, but the crust was overly thick (overly risen?) and there was so much sauce (and maybe an overly generous application of toppings?) that it was very sloppy and leaking out of the box on the way home.
But like I said, it tasted good and the photos showed that they were capable of making a good-looking pizza, so I gave them another try. The second time was a beautiful thing with a thick but not too thick crust, nice, defined caramelized edges along the outside, and discrete puddles of sauce on top.
When they do it right, it's awesome. Hopefully the consistency improves on future orders as I love that there is a business offering this style of pizza in town, and I would like them to succeed.
I discovered the Good Pizza Company while attending ArtPrize, they were a venue. I returned for lunch, it was a pleasant surprise. Delicious pizza with interesting toppings. I tried a new one called Mr While. It was Great! As others have mentioned their pizza has a nice crisp thin tasty crust. Highly recommended.
My wife and I have ordered from here 4 different times so far, and each time the pizza was delicious! The cookies weren't the greatest, but they were on special so can't really complain there. We love the Boba Feta and the Good Pizza is more than just good!
With so many ready to go pizza places out there it's easy to forget what truly awesome means when we're talking about pizza. Good Pizza is perhaps the most modest name I've ever seen. Go, go now! Refresh your memory about what Fabulous Pizza tastes like and discover a new, the joy pizza brought us old folks before the advent of pizza pizza!
Being vegan means finding good pizza is practically impossible!! But Good Pizza Co fits the bill! So many options including vegan breadsticks and cookies and their pizza is delicious! I'm a huge fan of the Detroit style with the sauce on top and breadsticks
Good Pizza!? More like.... AMAZING Pizza! Always arrives hot. Drivers are polite and friendly. Tastes amazing. Boba Feta is my favorite. Get some NoBake cookies too, you won't regret it.
Went for their soft opening and one other time late on a weekend for drunk pizza. The main thing I love about it is their deep dish rivals Jet's Pizza, and this is a local pizzaria. All the typical pizza toppings, tasty sauce, and homemade pizza dough, this pizzaria is the hottest new local pizza place to visit.
Good people, good vibes, good pizza- the slogan says it all. Super fine deep dish, awesomely accommodating to weird alterations, almost playfully so, and their no-bake cookie is to die for. What more could you want? Also, everybody who works there is good looking. Talk about a win win.
