, This was a nice place to stop and eat. The decor of the restaurant is very nice and it makes you feel cozy and welcome. The food was really good, French toast was delicious, cheesecake pancakes were awesome, biscuits and gravy were pretty good just needed a little more gravy. The staff was very friendly and very helpful, our server took great care of us. Great place to eat.
Great food, I had the corn beef skillet, he has the country omelet, we split the blue berry lemon ricotta pancakes. Soo good. Our server Jesse was awesome and so nice. I loved the condiments selection, I never get Cholupa hot sauce anywhere let alone the chili lime which it favorite. This is a magnificent restaurant.
For those whose love language is breakfast, The Omelette Shoppe is heavenly ❤️ The menu had many gluten free options, and I went with the Goat Cheese Omelette (pictured on its own), while my buddy ordered the Veggie Omelette (with the bacon). Both of us had leftovers for our families 😁 The coffee was good, too, served in a carafe at the table.
Great service and food, huge portion sizes. We had the Inferno and the meat lover's scramble, I asked for extra crispy hash browns, an they delivered! Thanks kitchen staff. Nice diner, would go back again.
This place is amazing! I had the veggie sandwich. Best vegetarian sandwich in Grand Rapids! Wife had the California Veggie Omlette. She loved it. The Omlette came with a pancake as a side. Awesome! I met the manager Jessica she obviously knows what she's doing. The constant construction in this area of town must hurt business but it's worth finding your way here through the orange cones. Awesome!!
Been here a few times, the pancakes are really good, especially the strawberry shortcake. Service is good. Their eggs have a different taste though. I didn’t like the eggs at all.

I love The Omelette Shop! I always think of it as a breakfast place but they have lunches too. Today I had the Lump Blue Crab scramble - crabmeat, cream cheese, scrambled eggs and avocado - it was as decadent as it sounds. It came with excellent diced potatoes and raisin bread toast. My dining partner and I split a delicious cinnamon roll. She had the quiche - they were out of mushroom, so she had ham. Unfortunately, the crust of her quiche was not completely cooked. Still, a great place for breakfast.
My friend got the Pecan Roll French toast & I got the Blue Lump Crab Cake Benedict - both were divine - good thing we split!
My daughter:Lateefah & I had the best Banana Foster French Toast! The friendly service, the food & ambiance, made it a delightful experience. I recommend, this establishment.
