The Mr. Triple was pretty much what I expected it to be. There’s a half pound of beef divided between three patties with American cheese, Swiss cheese, special sauce, and lettuce. Most special sauces are mayo based, so I didn’t even try it. It was pretty thickly slathered on the bottom bun with the lettuce, so I just forgo the bottom bun and did a little half-Atkins deal.
Reminded me of the restaurants we'd go to when I was a kid with my parents and grandparents! LOVED IT!! Kind of a self serve style vibe with good food and a very friendly staff. Highly recommended. 😎
Classic Diner Vibes with Friendly Service!
Stopped by Mr. Burger on Lake Michigan Drive NW in Grand Rapids. Loved the nostalgic 50-year retro diner ambiance. Service was prompt and friendly, and the seating area was neat and clean. Opted for the Mr. Burger Combo; the burger was tasty though the fries could've used some salt. Presentation on a platter would've added to the retro feel. Nonetheless, it's a good spot worth visiting. Recommended!
They got breakfast all day! The prices are a bargain. They do the basics really well. You come to Mr. Burger not because you want the best meal of your life, but because you're hungry and want something decent that won't break the bank. They deliver that experience every time without fail.
Drive through was very fast and good! Burger was great and fries were fresh!
This Mr Burger always has amazing food and great staff, but can be super busy. There are a bunch of churches nearby that cause the place to get really busy after Mass is done, and a lot of people come here all the time as regulars. It gets super busy and you can wait in line almost twenty minutes sometimes.
Food was good! Service was good! Restaurant was clean! I love the retro 70s feel to the place. Sometimes its nice to show up to a burger joint, and not have flashy TVs and lights blasting in your face like other places! Yup, just good old fashioned food and service. Try their mr burger platter and get a piece of coconut cream pie. You wont be sorry.
Update: came here again and the food was every bit as delicious as it was last time.
Classic American breakfast, lunch and dinner. Has a diner feel. Decent value for the food. Don’t expect 5 star cuisine, but the atmosphere is fun for family and friends.

What can I say about Mr. Burger? It's a GR treasure. The food is always good, the portions are fair, the atmosphere is your typical cafeteria style, value for your money is good, service is quick and friendly. I think what I like most about Mr. Burger is it's consistency. The burger that I got last week, tastes the same as the one that I got 15 years ago. They aren't trying to be fancy and create some new burger or be creative with the menu to make some odd deconstructed burger. Those kind of changes have their place, but Mr. Burger is reliable and consistent and I value that and find myself there at least once a month because I crave their food.
