This place was amazing! I have been to a good handful of buffet places here in Grand Rapids and this place was by far the best!! Every bite of food made me love it even more. We went on a Saturday around 1pm and we were not disappointed. Be sure to try the ice cream, it's Soo creamy and delicious <3
One of my favorite buffets there is ! I have pictures of their dinner buffet for $7.99 here .
their egg drop soup with scallions & scalions & nori aka: seaweed. The made in front of you Sushi part of their buffet, &the side that has dumplings, egg rolls, spring rolls, & their honey chicken that I Love
Price and quantity is unprecedented, quality is ok, but delicious.
The food here was above average for a Chinese buffet and quite good, and it was very reasonably priced ($8 at lunch). They had a decent variety of sushi, as well. I would definitely go back. My only complaint was the service. From the time she brought our drinks when we first sat down, our server never came back voluntarily to check on us. I finally had to track her down to ask for refills after every person's glass at our table was completely empty, because she was behind the server station playing on her phone.
The food is fresh. There is an excellent variety. I don't personally like sushi, but others in my family do, and they say it is extremely good. They can do hibachi. There is a dessert bar that includes soft serve. It's an excellent deal for an affordable price. The service is good and very friendly.
This was generally my go to place to treat myself to a budget friendly sushi lunch. My first visit was years ago and I was so surprised and impressed with the sushi selection that I kept going back. Unfortunately for me over time they have started adding avocado to so many of the rolls which really limits my choices. I found the Chinese buffet side both very bland and overly sweet as well as oily and there is always an issue with the temperature of the food so I just don't bother with it. Overall worth the price of admission, but so much has gone downhill over the years I'd really like to see them do something to refresh the spirit of the place and just get rid of that carpet.
For a Chinese/Japanese Buffet they do a good job. Let's face it the best food is rarely found at a buffet. That said, Ming Ten consistently delivers good quality food and has the best sushi I've ever had at a buffet - and lot of choices too. In addition they have a Hibachi grill so you can make your own creations and watch them cook it for you.
Good food. Decent service. Best buffet sushi in town!
One of the best buffets I've visited. I've been to buffets in Vegas and although those have far better food quality, Ming ten holds it's own for variety and wins by far in price. The cost for all you can eat is extremely reasonable. They probably have about 30-40 dishes at any time with American, Chinese, Japanese, and other Asian cuisine. This is one of the few buffets I've been to that includes sushi as well. If you haven't been here, it is a must try.
I enjoy Ming Ten for the great variety of sushi and Chinese dishes. They also have a small hibachi area, but I haven't had that. Parking can be a challenge, especially on weekends and peak times. Service is usually friendly and responsive. I recommend going early for lunch or at dinner time for peak freshness of food. They are good about restocking dishes when they are busy.
Ming Ten is a very clean Chinese Buffet!
Located at Knapp's Corner this buffet has tons of very tasty Sushi, shrimp dishes, standard Chinese dishes and an area where they will make stir fry dishes for you with fresh ingredients of your choosing. If you enjoy sushi this is a great place for you. The ingredients have always been fresh.
Price with a drink is around $14.50 per person. Worth every penny
