We went early so no problem getting seated.
The food could have more spice/flavor. I’m hoping this will serve as constructive input that a new establishment would like.
My whole fried fish was delicious.
Will have to check out the sandwiches soon.

I had the roast pork and it was spot on, the mojo was not hot, but packed with fresh flavors, and the plantain is a great side.
The only thing I would tweak is the Yuca, it's cooked perfectly, but comes with mojo, a creamy sauce would pair better withe the salty seasoning in the yuca, maybe some kind of remoulade.
We shared the flan for dessert, this is hands down the best flan in GR!!
Aside from food the atmosphere is awesome, they are using compostable straws and to-go containers, love the little stuff.
Full vegetarian menu also!
First time here and we are definitely coming back. I was craving something that it was not in the menu and the chef graciously deliver. The food was very authentic with a gourmet touch and amazing flavors. The staff was very nice and the place was clean and modern.
This was an awesome experience! We went on a Tuesday night and it wasn’t too busy. Our food came out quick and Shauna was a great waitress! We got some ceviche and it may have been some of the beat seafood I have ever tasted. So fresh, clean, and vibrant! All of our food was flavorful and delicious. The lechón asado (pictured) was definitely filling, piled high with meat and beans. We will be back!
I’m giving Danzon 5 stars because they have an extensive bar selection. I was pleasantly surprised when the waiter told me that they stocked my favorite small batch gin Hendrick’s. Awesome! But I did find the Cuban sandwich a bit greasy, especially if takeout, when I warmed it up at home it wasn’t anywhere near as good.
Tasty sandwiches! Very good balance of bread to meat and sauce. Unique flavor. The plantane chips are an excellent side. Nice selection of drinks and good service with clean interior. I especially like the music selection. No parking nearby though.
Good food and great atmosphere. Live music all weekend at 9pm would be awesome, with a different Cubano theme each night. One night salsa, one night bachata, one night another Cuban style of music etc.
Had Sunday Brunch here today and we will be back! Loved the Cuban Bloody Mary - complete with mini Cuban sandwich - and the Spicy Vegan Bloody Mary. The fried calamari and tostones were a very nice start and didn't last long enough for pics. Main meals were all very good and generous portions, will have left overs for lunch coming up! had Pork Picadill, Danzon Cubano sandwich, Cuban French toast and brunch polenta. Planing to come back again for the happy hour and dinner menu.
Been wanting to try Danzon Cubano for a long time. I'm not sure how many Cuban restaurants there are in GR, but there can't be very many, so it's a real treat. They have a nice patio area we sat in because pandemic. The service was good. Our waitress knew a lot about the menu and made good suggestions. The food and drinks were great. I don't drink very often, but tried the 90 miles and it was fantastic! Ordered the fried plantains for an app and a cubano sandwich. Both were fantastic. The chips that come with the cubano were really interesting and awesome as well. Dazon Cubano is a great change of pace from the normal restaurant fare in GR.
Excellent food and service! Super tasty sauces and great recommendations by the server. A gem for a Saturday night... not busy, let's make this place popular!
