Bottom line: It was decent. There wasn't much to get excited about, but I don't have much to complain about either. I would say it meets expectations without exceeding them.
Pros: if you're in the neighborhood and you're in the mood for a gyro or some hummus you can get that and more here. The service was good and the prices and food weren't bad.
Cons: not much to differentiate it from other similar places, the food doesn't stand out and though you can dine in the experience leaves you feeling like it's more of a take-out restaurant.
Hands down best Gyro you will find in Grand Rapids, and probably all of Michigan. PETA bread is soft, fluffy and fresh. The lamb was so tender and appropriately portions. The sauce had a uniform consistency and was fresh. On top off all that the staff were extremely friendly and took time to explain the different dishes if your unfamiliar with Greek or Mediterranean food. Looking for something different than fast food or a pizza? Look no further as Zesty Gyros has you covered. I will keep coming back and back again.

Best Gyro I’ve ever had in my entire life!! Absolutely delicious! The seasoning they use on their fries is spectacular! LOVED THEM! I really wish they had a restaurant closer to where I live. It would be my go-to place to eat! Cashier/Staff also was very friendly. Thank you! Highly recommend you give it a try!
The visit to Zesty Gyros turned out to be really good. The food was prepared with great spices and served with plenty to go around. The waitstaff was kinda bored, it seemed, since he spent a good bit of time on his phone. I had to be bold to get his attention. But the food made up for that.
Went for the first time today and got the sampler platter for 2 (can feed 3 easily). I cannot exaggerate how fresh and delicious everything was. The tabbouleh was full of lemon juice and the lentil soup was salty and full of flavor. The hot sweet tea was comforting. Spinach pie was bursting with flavor and the meats were tender and well-spiced. We’ll be back!
This place should be crazy busy for how great its food and service are but it's still pretty chill and comfortable. The server was kind and efficient, great with my kid. Food came out fairly quick, faster than if you went through a nearby drive-thru. It's clean, calm, delicious and I highly recommend it.
the food here at zesty gyros was hands down one of the best things i have ever tried. It was my dad and my first time going and the workers were so nice and food came quickly and warm. the food is very filling and i would totally come back to eat again

This is my first time here, but I will be back for sure! I absolutely loved the Arabic Chicken Shwarma. It had wonderful flavor (very different, but great) and texture. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant.
