I’m a frequent visitor here and usually have one of their great scones and a cup of dark roast. My buddy has a pastry without fail. It’s a full service bakery with lots of variety and they also serve a great sandwiches and soup. And the have a full service coffee bar. Inside seating is very nice and outside seating is ok but on the curb of a busy city street.
I love stopping in here once in a while. It is usually just to grab a coffee and a baked good, but all of their items are so yummy. I've never ordered actual food from this location.
All of their baked goods are great - you really can't go wrong. The staff is sooooo nice - they even help me pick what to get when I am being incredibly indecisive. The line goes pretty quick as well, but the wait for your order seems like it takes longer than it should. Maybe I am just too antsy for my goodies!!!!
Stopped in for warm cider and scones around 3:00. Clean and cheerful, open seating area and lots of light. Good lemon raspberry scones! Quiet and busy. Several people working on laptops. On site parking on Wealthy for the win!
Absolutely delish danishes and croissants. The pastry is very well laminated and has great flavor. Quick and friendly service too!
Cookies were a bit done in my opinion, but that is just my preference. I prefer cookies with more of a chew and less of a crunch, and unfortunately these cookies are pretty crunchy and a bit bland. They are gorgeous cookies just not the best tasting. Everything else I got was amazing though! I am just fussy about cookies.
Fantastic local bakery! The pastries and other traditional bakery items are wonderful, but I think the deli items and service are what really makes this place stand out. The breakfast croissant sandwiches are amazing, with generous portions of ham and cheese folded into the freshly baked croissants. The pizzas are delicious and taste so much fresher than most traditional pies, thanks to the ingredients and cooking style. The service is fantastic. When I'm not able to visit in person, I have ordered delivery online on several occasions and I always mention my nut allergy - the most recent time I ordered they bothered to write a lengthy note on the bag and receipt explaining exactly what the level of risk was. This is above and beyond! Highly recommend this place for any GR locals and visitors.
Stopped by here a few times while walking. Service is good, everyone is friendly. Always busy when I go by so must be good. I have had coffee here and it’s always been good. Cinnamon rolls are a bit too hard for my liking but still good. Lots of choices, I’ve seen people getting food and it looks delicious. A pleasant place to stop.
Stopped for a coffee on the adjacent R coffee & checked out this store.
Very friendly staff, this was my first visit so they explained what a Scone is, ended up getting one & chocolate croissant. Both are amazing, lots of flavor. Will come back for the cinnamon role.
Tried their mushroom/margarita pizza and it was awesome. The crust is to die for! Perfectly airy, chewy and crispy.
They have a half off during happy hour on pizza and a few other things. If I’m not wrong happy hour is 3-6 pm
The food was really good. Customer service was really great and the environment was really welcoming. The staff deal with a lot and don't really get the respect they deserve. And as a black person I wasn't starred down or felt or was made to feel uncomfortable, but this just my experience. I will definitely be coming back
Very nice Cafe with good food. Reminds me of European bakery. Open until 9 pm which is a great plus.
