One of the best coffee shops in GR and they have been here for years with a solid customer base throughout. The baristas are always so kind and their drinks are amazing!! I love to come here and read as well. They have great tea selection, yummy pastries, and awesome customer service. Definitely check it out!
It's everything a coffee shop should be. I loved the jewelry, candles and other retail items that were available for purchase. The latte was smooth and creamy and the flavoring didn't overpower the coffee. There's a small pastry selection and my raspberry muffin was perfect with the coffee.

This coffee shop is definitely one of my favorites in the area, and there are many reasons why.

I don’t know how I have never been here, it’s like 5 minutes from everything I do. I got the cold foam matcha latte with lavender and it was so unbelievably smooth. The barista working when I went was so lovely! The atmosphere was so cute and I can’t wait until I have more time to sit down and enjoy it.
Learned they make their own syrups! Which meant I couldn't do a salted caramel mocha latte, just a mocha latte. Which was fine by me, not really disappointed. It took a little while for my latte to come out. I think there was only one girl working behind the counter and it was fairly busy on a Saturday afternoon! The latte was delicious. I did not get the chance to delve deeper into the interior than the counter, but from my cursory glance, it had nice atmosphere!
Tried an iced killer queen with mocha added. Sweet and delicious! Staff were very kind and helpful. Various other things to purchase inside from other businesses such as cards and jewelry.

To clarify, they used to be Sparrow’s and recently renamed, but it is still the wonderful, modern, and creative coffee shop you’re after!
I went last Saturday (01/21) and the girl who took my order/prepared my drink was probably one of the kindest people I’ve met, to both myself and to other customers. She was such a pleasure to get to talk to 😊
The ambiance was really cool and there is a good amount of seating—just be warned that on a weekend afternoon, they can fill up fast!
OBSESSED with this place! We were visiting from out of town and now I’m so mad that I live two and a half hours from this place. The vibes in here are impeccable. In addition to a varied drinks menu and plenty of pastries, there are lots of things along the wall for purchase like jewelry, notebooks, mugs, postcards, etc. They even have vinyl records for sale, and a record player with headphones where you can sit and listen. Lots of places to sit and beautifully decorated too!
Perhaps my favorite part was a drink called the Mugshot, $1 of every purchase of it is donated to the Grand Rapids Trans Foundation.
I can’t wait to come back to GR someday so I can come back to Scorpion Hearts Club!
A fantastic coffee shop with the coolest selection of earrings, books, little tokens and treats. Valkyrie was a great barista and super fun! Thank you for a great first visit, I'll be back!

• interior : an eclectic space filled with various large plants, delecate pink accents, and a large wall of local merchandise. This shop has a warm and cozy feel, with more dim lighting and filled space you feel wrapped in your surroundings like a warm blanket.
• plenty of available seating with multiple types of options from an inviting couch, standard cafe tables, and bar seating, to antique lounge chairs
• very cool outdoor seating area nestled in the ajacent alley, adorned with beautiful leafy vines and set off with adorable pink outdoor chairs
• numerous local artisan vendors featured :):)
