I had the pleasure of dining at this charming spot during my trip to Grand Rapids, Michigan. Craving brunch, I received a recommendation for this place. The restaurant, though small, welcomed us warmly, and the hostess promptly seated us.
To kick off the meal, I opted for the fresh-squeezed orange juice, a delightful and sweet choice. Additionally, we ordered the monkey bread, a shareable cinnamon pull-apart bread topped with cream cheese icing. It was a highlight that I truly enjoyed. For my main dish, I chose Anna's Skillet but with bacon instead of ham. Upon tasting it, I felt it lacked sufficient salt and pepper — it seemed as though they hadn't added any at all. However, after a sprinkle of seasoning, it became delicious. Others in my party ordered shrimp and grits, as well as omelets, and they too were pleased with their choices.
Absolutely delighted with my experience at Anna's House! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting. The staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating, ensuring that every need was met. The menu offered a fantastic variety of dishes, each bursting with flavor and made from high-quality ingredients. The attention to detail and presentation truly impressed me. Without a doubt, Anna's House deserves every bit of its 5-star rating. Can't wait to return for another delightful meal!
The food was AMAZING like always when we go to Anna's House, and our waitress Amanda was so wonderful and friendly and totally did a wonderful job...I really recommend that if you want to go out for breakfast and don't know where to go, stop by Anna's House and enjoy the food and the atmosphere and the staff that will definitely make sure that you enjoyed your visit ..
Wow! There are so many gluten-free and vegan options, including giant cinnamon rolls, which tend to be very uncommon. The service was good, our drinks stayed full and our food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Everything was fresh and delicious.
I had the vegan version of the sweet potato and brussel sprout hash, which was pretty tasty but could have used a little more seasoning.
My husband and his friend split a gigantic non-gluten free cinnamon roll, which they really enjoyed as it was tasty on its own as well as covered and filled with cinnamon icing.
My husband's friend really enjoyed the avocado toast and gets it every time he visits.
Highly recommended, especially if you are searching for gluten-free and/or vegan options.
It's always busy so plan ahead on waiting for a bit. The food is delicious, lots of options for vegetarians and gluten free people. Super friendly staff, the place is small and theres a LOT of tables so you will be pretty close to the other tables.
First time at this cozy gem. Food was fresh and fabulous. The BEST corned beef hash I've ever had!! Normally, don't eat at chain restaurants but I will definitely be back!!
I'm from out of town and my grandparents and I always visit here. The breakfast is always great, the servers are always super sweet and the atmosphere is great! If you are going on a weekend make sure to get there early, it fills up quick. If you are coming solo there are a few bar stools where you can sit and get your food faster, if there is one available. If you haven't been I definitely recommend!
Great food. Many items are rather unique. It has always been super busy when I have been there, and is a bit expensive. Good stuff though.Just went again recently, as always great stuff and awesome staff.
Amazing breakfast. Came here on Memorial Day while traveling across the state for some MTB Trails.
The food was absolutely amazing as well as the waitress. She suggested us different ways that we could have our food prepared (ex: omelette vs scrambled or toppings on pancakes). Super helpful and very friendly. Will come back again!!
Most amazing breakfast I've had in Michigan in my 3 years of being here!
