Wow, the rice balls are incredibly delicious! The beef one was by far my favorite one. Rich in flavor. Spicy shrimp was second best and I’d probably substitute the crab meat for a different flavor next time. 10/10
Cheap and well packaged. Loved the salted seaweed.
Tasty affordable rice balls with generous amounts of various Japanese and Korean fillings! This place is so good it's literally always my first stop when I drive in from Sacramento.
My favorites are spicy shrimp, beef bulgogi, unagi (eel), spicy pork and kim chee. I love that the rice balls are individually wrapped and labeled and the nori (seaweed) to wrap them in is packaged separately. I love that it's Korean nori too.
Great for takeout, travels well, fast friendly service. To go orders only. If you can't find parking out front there is a parking structure just around the corner that gives you free parking for the first 90 minutes.
Arrived 20ish minutes before closing time. They were out of chicken curry omosubi by then. The guy behind the counter was helpful. Of the rice balls I had, spicy shrimp was best. The bulgogi (beef) was good, but not really bulgogi, just in our opinion. The spicy pork was spicy, but I'm less tolerant of spiciness than my family.
I was walking through Brand Blvd and I was curious about this place because of the name. It said "rice ball" on the menu and I was instantly curious to try it out. I tried the beef and spicy pork rice ball. The presentation of the rice ball was so cute. It's actually not a ball, but rather a compact triangle. The spicy pork was decent, but I really liked the beef rice ball. The meat was seasoned in a Korean style as if I was eating KBBQ, but made into a Japanese dish. With a two or three of the rice balls you can have a filling meal.
Don't forget to check in to get your free fountain drink. You'll need it to wash down your rice balls.
Amazing food in the area. If you want a quick, delicious and flavorful bite this is the place to go. I absolutely adore the flavor. I will be coming back for more!
They have an awesome take out. The seaweed is packed separate from the rice so you get the same quality ordering it to enjoy at home later as it is to eat there right when it's made.
Wow! A great find in a huge row of food available. This is more of a quick fix shop. I highly recommend the shrimp & beef onigiri (rice ball). The salmon is overcooked and underwhelming. The tamago (egg) is okay.
So delicious, so cheap! Truly a gem. I’ve been here several times, and have never been disappointed with the rice balls or the service. Get the spicy shrimp! Three rice balls are really filling, though two rice balls are usually enough.
