You found the perfect formula: helpful and nice staff, good food, great coffee, comfortable and interesting space with flexible seating options, good lighting, and best of all...miles of incredible games. A sanctuary away from electronics — such a great way to have loads of fun actually interacting with people not devices! Nerdy cool excellence.
If you are a gamer in L.A., you owe it to yourself to check out this place.
The owner and staff are two of the friendliest folks you could hope to meet, the food is great, the coffee is great and the selection of games is phenomenal.
Most of all, the game space itself is CLEAN. More than clean, it is immaculate, a refreshing change from the all-too-common condition of so many game stores.
I'm planning on taking some friends back next time they're in town, and I heartily recommend it to anyone who's looking for a great place to play and pass the time with friends.
In fact, if you don't have time for a game, just go in for lunch!

This was a fun cafe. We went in when they opened at 6pm and decided on this spot for our family time tonight. $5 per person. It's a Friday and it wasn't packed. Stayed for an hour and played Cranium and there was only one other group of 4 there.
I ordered a latte and the coffee they used was from Groundworks, which I like. The brownie was pretty good and the cheesecake bar was great but a bit too sweat for my preference.
I would recommend this cafe to others and definitely come back to play games with friends.
I absolutely loved this place! I definitely recommend this place, especially if you love board games. Their selection is crazy cool, we didnt know how to play majority of the games but we definitely tried. They have 4 walls completely covered in games, ones ive never heard of but we’re definitely going back with a bigger group to try more games. Their drinks, their black forest cake and their cookies were amazing! The staff is very friendly, patient and attentive. They are following covid guidelines, the place is clean and masks are required unless you’re eating/drinking.
Wish we had more time....to really enjoy the gazillion board games available, allow yourself 3 hours minimum. This place is fabulous, fun & affordable. They do serve dessert, coffee, pizza & beers! Super chill owner. In today's society where people are losing interaction/verbal communication skills, its wonderful to learn that there are special places as such to go and enjoy others company whilst playing good old fashion board games. Will definitely return.
This is an awesome spot! We went there with a group of kids, and everyone including the adults had a blast. There are games for every age & taste. The cafe itself is great, very good coffee and pizza, and the sandwiches look delicious. The staff is super friendly. Can recommend, 10/10 will go there again.
Great place to eat and play board games! We were able to reserve a table for 4 people ahead of time. Nice variety of food and beverages, they even accommodate food sensitivity. Thanks to Robert, Daniel and the rest of the staff for making us feel so welcome! We will definitely visit again.
I absolutely love this place! I've been coming for over 5 years. They've got hundreds of board games to choose from and the staff and owners have always been friendly and kind. Please give this wonderful establishment a visit!
My first time back here since the pandemic started and it's still a wonderful place to hang out and play games for a while. Lovely staff and an amazing selection of games to play, not to mention they have a pretty decent cafe as well! It was good to be back!
My family rented out this place to celebrate my nephew's graduation. A fun time was had by all!
