Loved this BBQ Joint- The owners were super friendly and helped us choose items with out being pushy. The two of us share their 3 meat plate (BBQ Ribs, pulled pork, and Chicken) with their beans and Mac-n-cheese. We also got an extra side of string beans. The meat was tasty! We were impressed that the meat fell off the bones, almost before getting the bone to our mouths. Their sauces are yummy, we liked their spicy the best! The sides that we tried were great, just like grandma makes! Everything was so good we had to try the peach cobbler even though we were full...let me tell you, that did not disappoint either! JJ's has earned our business can't wait to try their catfish!
The food is amazing!! The BBQ Pork is the best I have ever had. Perfectly cooked. Perfectly smoked. The sauce is very tasty. The potato salad was perfect. The staff is friendly and the place is very clean. You won't find better prices anywhere. We drove all the way from Tempe and it was definitely worth the trip. Definitely the best BBQ in the valley!

The brisket, pulled pork, Mac n cheese, beans, corn bread and peach cobbler were all very tasty! The young man who took my order was very nice and helpful with my order. The restaurant was very clean. Second visit the ribs were great!
AWESOME BOMB FRESH HOT FOOD. My husband and I wanted to try something different and we had a mixture of taste. My husband wanted BBQ/Soul Food and I wanted Seafood/Soul Food so we said lets go to JJs Louisiana BBQ.... WOW We must say it was EXCELLENT. Very nice and clean restaurant. We loved the music as well...My husband had Brisket collard greens and mac N cheese. I had catfish collard greens and cole slaw Hush puppies. WOW. Its BOMB!!!!👍👍👍👍💯💯💯💯
Straight out of Louisiana comes the finest BBQ West of Grand Avenue. It is my understanding this recipe was unique to a Parish in Louisiana and now post Katrina this BBQ is here in Arizona to stay. The chicken and beef were as succulent as the cactuses in this State. My advice is to get a plate and try it all until you find your favorite.
This food taste fantastic! The owner or manager, I'm not sure who, but greeted us so friendly and welcoming. The baked mac and cheese was and IS baked mac and cheese. Service was great and homely. Thank you
The hot link sandwich and sides were good. The baked beans spice lasted in your mouth for a moment, and eased into the flavor of the bean. The potato salad was creamy with good chunks of potato.
I will be going back to try other items on the menu. The food was good and I had no problems with the customer service. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Give this place a chance! My family and I were a little skeptical about coming in since there was not much business but once we had the food.. we changed our minds immediately. This place has that BBQ at the park with your family type of vibe. The ribs fall off the bone, the Mac and Cheese was delicious and baked, the the pulled pork was delicious.
Amazing food, friendly staff, and clean restaurant. It was our first time here, and we were offered samples to make our decision easier. Sadly, it made it harder.....EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME. So I guess this means a return trip all the way from El Mirage! 😁🍖🍗🥐🥤
This establishment is AMAZING! Their food is moist, delicious and reasonably priced. I got to speak with the owner after a meal and it really saddened me to hear him say he doesn't get much business. Their food is out of this world! Everything me and my fiancee ate was DELICIOUS! Their slogan "Best BBQ in Arizona" is accurate. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE! They need to have a big sign so that everyone driving by can see that it is there. Please give this place a chance! You'll not be disappointed!
