Started off poorly when we checked in and were told the patio table we requested and were told "no problem" had already been reserved.
Take inside was nice, but the atmosphere is a bit louder than we were hoping for on a date night.
We ordered a bruschetta variety and it was super good. One of the flavors had a bit of a bite to it which I didn't care for, but my wife loved it and I loved the other 2 types so that worked out well.
My wife ordered the eggplant parmesan and when it cane out, it was cold. They made another one and it came out piping hot. Unfortunately, their style is "skin on" which is not my wife's preference. The manager offered to replace with another meal, but my wife declined.
My lasagna was great, but the pizza that I saw delivered to another table looked amazing.
Service was friendly but a bit lacking in following up (not filing up water glasses often enough is a pet peeve of mine), but we agreed we will give them another try and I still give them a 4 out of 5 on this visit.

Didn't have a reservation, but fortunately we were able to get a table next to the kitchen so we could watch the pizza guys do their thing. Great seats!
We ordered the bruschetta sampler again, but this time, we ordered a pizza to share. No regrets as it was delicious!
We capped off our visit with the Nutella Calzone. Yummy!

Bottega Italian Restaurant is a must-visit place for anyone looking for great food and a lively atmosphere. The drinks are fantastic, and the white sangria is a standout. The pizza is delicious, with a perfect crust that's crispy and chewy at the same time. The Burrata is a must-try appetizer, and the fried ice cream is a must-try dessert, though the name may escape you. The waiter was fabulous, and to top it all off, he even gave us free Jell-O shots! With its delicious food, excellent drinks, and attentive staff, Bottega Italian Restaurant is a great choice for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner for two
Great authentic Italian food. Not the easiest to find in Phoenix but Bottega hits that note. I recommend making reservations and just order whatever, chances are you'll be happy.
This was my first time here. My friend and I were looking for a place to eat and I did a search on the internet. The photos made me decide to come here. We didn't make reservations. Luckily we came after 3 pm. The atmosphere is elegant. The service was excellent. The food was fantastic. I felt very relaxed here. The food is pricey and the portions are small, but the food melt in my mouth. I tried a few Italian restaurant in the valley and so far this restaurant and another North of Icavecreek are the best I ever tried. The flavor of the meal isn't heavy. If money wasn't limited iI would go once a week .
Absolutely stellar food and service. Giovani (sp) took such great care of us. He had two very large tables and yet still managed to see that everyone was happy. Great atmosphere. They even made pasta and clams with red sauce which rivaled Grandma’s Italian family recipe. Celebration for our daughter’s birthday was memorable. Thank you—we’ll be back!

Six of us met here for dinner. There was a little problem at first but the owner fixed it immediately and we all enjoyed a wonderful dinner perfectly prepared. Every dish was excellent but please consider trying the chicken pizzaiola, a large piece of parmesan crusted chicken covered with mozzarella cheese and served on a wooden platter as it is fantastic. Highly recommended.
This place is a classic family owned Italian restaurant serving authentic Italian dishes.
5 star food and 5 star service.
Be aware the meals are made from scratch to order so give yourself some time to sit and enjoy freshly made Italian cuisine you don’t often find around the phoenix area. Don’t try to rush this. You won’t be sorry you did. Magnificent food.

So happy to have finally found authentic Italian food after living in Italy! Delicious food, fresh pasta, and very cute ambiance.
We went for lunch on a Friday & were seated right away. We ordered a buffalo mozzarella pizza as our appetizer which was delicious! Then we had lasagna, strozzapreti norcina, a chicken dish with a side of greens & a pasta with mushrooms in a mushroom cream sauce. We tasted each others dishes & they were all delicious. We ordered from the dinner menu, so we had plenty to take home! They have live music on some evenings too!
