Gertrude is amazing! I have to say that first and foremost because when you have service from someone this attentive, this friendly, and this witty???
YOU SING THE PRAISES!
So now, for the restaurant. It's very low key, comfortable, great decor and atmosphere.
But of course, the important part is the food.
I had the spinach stuffed manicotti and OH MY GOODNESS!
My wife eats a vegan diet, and had eaten prior to my first time because of all the options.
She has never had the same thing twice and as loved absolutely everything!
Price wise? It's very affordable and you get bang for your buck!
Bottom line, if I'm craving Italian, I cannot imagine going anywhere else.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Beautiful atmosphere, great service, delicious food. Many, many selections between established menu items and build your own pasta dishes from the wide array of established menu items. Rich flavors, great pasta, good garlic bread, good salads.
A couple notches better than classic Olive Garden of my youth (many moons ago before greed completely ruined it).
Absolutely love this place. First stumbled upon this place a little over twenty years ago and the casual, friendliness hasn’t changed a bit and food is still delicious Italian comfort.
Everything is great. Highly recommend the tomato-fredo on gnocchi.

My family have been patrons since we moved here from NY in 1993. The menu is diverse and delicious. The service is incredible, too. Shout out to the amazing Mayra. She’s often working when I drop in with my dad — always so kind and customer-focused. Check out TAG today!! 🍝
OK, so we came here on mother's day to celebrate the Babes and we made the best decision to stop in at 2 pm as we didn't wanna fight the dinner rush. The place was not too busy and Service was excellent at that time. I ordered the Steak Gorgonzola (without the gorvonzola) medium, and it was absolutely delicious, steak was juicy and soft and the fettuccine Alfredo was not runny or watery it had excellent flavor. The breadsticks were unlimited real strips of French bread covered in garlic butter and toasted.. Deeelish. The Wife got the Seafood Angel Hair and she said it was a dish she would order again and again. It's an Italian place so don't make my mistake and order a margarita lol, stick with a wine and you'll be fine. All in all was absolutely delicious Italian spot. The wife wanted Olive Garden but I have to admit I protest that commercial spot as I never been impressed with olive garden, but this place gives a more home cooked meal and better environment. I suggest giving a try as we definitely are going back again.
I’ve been coming here and there old location that used to be open since I was a kid and it’s still my favorite place to have Italian food best minestrone soup ever and Alfredo pasta slaps, went in today for something different and it’s just as great always recommend this place support them !!
Tracy was the best server! I'm picky with my food and service but she gave great advice on food and was absolutely attentive. She made the rare time I go out to eat, perfect. The food was so delicious 🤤
Food was amazing! Large generous portions. Our waitress was fantastic! Very courteous. Made sure we had everything we needed. Seemed to enjoy her job unlike so many these days. Will definitely go back!
IF I could rate this place 10/5, but would!! Our server, Red, was super amazing, professional and beautiful! The food was so good and plentiful, I couldn’t believe! The garlic butter bread- OMGGGG!! I’m in love with this place!! My husband and I have a new fave since being in Phoenix! Glendale has so much to offer! Keep it up!! Thank you!
So worth the drive from Laveen! They have a large patio, with misters AND screens which means even in the middle of our Phoenix summers the patio would be doable (for those brave souls). The only negative comment would be the direction of the table we were sitting at. My only scenery was the back wall; well, and the person sitting opposite. But that's what I get for being late. LOL! But if the direction of the tables were turned 180 degrees, at least I would have been able to look sideways at the restaurant, instead of having to turn my head like The Exorcist to see what's behind me. LOL! Other than that, everything else was exceptional: food, staff, adult beverages.
The bread they brought to the table was hot, soft, and was gone very quickly. As for as the cocktails, I definitely preferred the Italian Dream to the Monsoon Madness. Our server was punctual and courteous, and very attentive. She made it a point to come around a few extra times simply to tell us "your drinks are coming" or "your meals will be out shortly". I like being kept in the loop like that. Makes me feel like they didn't just take our order and forget about us.
I would definitely visit Cucina again.
