We just moved back to the Valley and decided to splurge on a nice breakfast out. We were not disappointed! Although the wait was a little hectic, our food and service from Adam was worth the wait. Adam our server is THE BEST and has the greatest attitude to his customers. He was busy busy but he never faltered in making sure the coffee and sodas were filled, any extra condiments were brought out immediately and this wonderful young man kept a smile on his face and a great positive attitude during a busy late morning rush. We will definitely be back and will request Adam as our server. Can't give this young man enough compliments on his work ethic and the amazing attention he gives the customer. Thank you Adam for making our first meal out back in the Valley, such an amazing and relaxing experience. You are the best!! We will definitely see you again!

We had breakfast three times so we have a couple of different days to get a sample of the restaurant, staff and food quality. All passed with flying colors. I highly recommend the chicken fried steak, eggs, hash browns and biscuit. Friday all you can eat fish fry. �
Best diner ever. It's more like a restaurant than a diner. This one has the largest selection of menu items, with the largest portion sizes, for the lowest prices.
The jukebox with classic tunes is very nice, the log cabin decor is rustic and relaxing. The servers are nice. The gift shop with the various black bear items are great. We bought two bears already!
I'm coming back to this place again and again, not joking. It's like a buffet for the quantity, but lower than buffet prices.
Seriously, you have got to try this place. I've been very impressed upon each visit. The menu items in my attached photos are 15 bucks or less per entree. You will always need a to-go box.

I love this restaurant, it's decor, and the warm feeling it brings especially during the holidays. I've eaten here a few times but first time at this location and the food, service, restaurant quality is always a great experience. Had The Grizz which came with two eggs, bacon and sausage and hame (2 slices each) but I always do their sausage because it's so good, links are huge! And I got six of them! Choice of fruit, grits, hash browns, or red potatoes (I always so has browns but red potatoes are good too! Also comes with 2 huge, soft cake-like sweet cream pancakes with a little powdered sugar, so warm, sweet, and delicious overall! Grandfather had the same with red potatoes and he loved it! We sat right down, service was really good. Our waitress consistently checked on us, and food came out so fast! One of the toilets were backed up in ladies room, and water overflowed but that stuff happens. They fixed and it very quickly and left the other stall open for use. $42 for coffee, iced tea, and our two meals and was well worth it! Highly recommend for a great breakfast at a great price!
I ordered their Thanksgiving dinner through door dash and is was wonderful! Thank you for being open and offering a very well rounded meal for those of us that do not have plans on this holiday. (The picture of the main meal is half eaten because it smelled and tasted so good I forgot to take a picture earlier.) Thank you!
2nd time going. Had what I got which was The Bigfoot special. 10 oz chicken fries steak with gravy. 3 eggs over easy country potatoes and 2 massive biscuits. Traded one biscuit for a pancake with my guest. In all an excellent dining experience. And I think they have actual Maple syrup because it made the pancake taste the best I've ever had. Price was small compared to the large portion size.
First time actually eating here. Had take out before but you can't experience the whole Black Bear Diner effect with out sitting down and eating.
The wait can be crazy sometimes from what I understand, but on this day we happened to get to the establishment with no major wait time. Only waited about 15mins.
The service was amazing making sure we had what we needed when our food came out. Food was good, filling, and presented nicely. I'll definitely be coming back again to try different dishes.

I enjoyed the Seniors breakfast plate with eggs, sausage, hashbrowns and a biscuit. Had some iced tea for my beverage and the meal was well presented and tasted good.
I've come here since I was a kid and it never fails to be delicious. Everything is homestyle and the servings are very large. Very busy on the weekends but it is worth the wait. Their pies are also amazing!
We didn't have a good time when we first found this place but decided o try it again. Wasn't disappointed! Great service and absolutely love how they decorated for the holidays! Good vibes all around. Food's a bit expensive but was 😊 good
Didn't realize this restaurant was a chain until I realized I ate at one in Boise, Idaho. Very friendly service but food was average. Service started great and it wasn't that busy but had to call served several times before she came to check on us. Next time I'll visit a small business. The food here wasn't worth writing home about.
A great local place for families or couples. Food and service were good. Large portions and home style cooking. Huge variety of food to choose from. Glad the owner was open to consider installing a bike rack in the future.
