Great pizza in a friendly atmosphere!
First off, the service was excellent and my waitress was very nice. The backyard BBQ pizza was cooked perfectly and the crust is one of my favorites, as far as local pizza is concerned. The fried pickles were good but a little overcooked. Beer prices are reasonable but the draft beer selection is not so good, need more Indiana beers such as Sun King, Upland, etc. Dropped 1 star being one of our plates wasn't cleaned fully, still had a little bit of cheese stuck to it from a previous customer. The plate was swapped out right away.
All together, I highly recommend 812 Pizza!
BE SURE TO HAVE THE BACKYARD BBQ PIZZA! We also had the fried mushrooms - best I've had! The blackened chicken alfredo was amazing - my only suggestion is not cut the chicken - let it be seen, but if plating is my only complaint... Friendly staff. Great service.
10/10. Every time I order from here it is delicious and hot. We’ve tried the friend pickles and fried cauliflower and it was all crispy and hot. I definitely recommend giving them a try!
If I could give more then 5 stars I would. The food is nothing short of amazing, but that’s not why I highly recommend it to all of my friends it’s because the service is even better. I’m HUGE on customer service no matter where I am. The experience I had with Kayleigh showed she truly cares about her job. The place was very short staffed when we went the other morning, but it didn’t slow her down at all. She had our drinks out just a few seconds after we sat down. Our food was served hot and fast. She repeatedly checked in to see if there was anything else she could do that could better our experience. Great service, food, and it was a clean place! 10/10 recommend. My wife & I love this place!
Fried pickles and pizza were both great, only seemed to be one server but she handled it well and paid attention to each table. Maybe it just depends on who's working when you go, but I didn't notice any of the things mentioned in negative reviews. It's possible they were all written by boomers who ate at a tourist trap pizza place on their budget trip to Italy and now they think they know everything there is to know about Italian cuisine. If you're unsure whether or not to eat here, just give it a try. Not really a reason not to.
We had 4 people and we shared a big 20 inch pizza and it was delicious! The cheesey garlic bread was my favorite! Now they have a lunch buffet and I can't wait to try that!
