Excellent place to eat breakfast or lunch. Food is great, reasonable price for all that you get, and it was fast even though there was a line when we arrived. The South on a Plate (their version of shrimp and grits) was delicious. The blackberry jam and strawberry orange marmalade are great with the biscuits and fritters. Homemade chips are awesome along with the burger. It's a nice place to visit as well since there are a couple of small shops and a small museum in the same indoor building as the restaurant. Not too far from Lexington or Georgetown. We will definitely be back!
Hayden’s Stockyard Eatery is a must go to place . The staff there is very friendly . The food is spectacular . This is one of those places where you take your out of town guest when they are in town. Hayden’s is definitely going to one be a regular place on my list. Can not wait to go back and try the lunch menu.
Truly farm to table. The restaurant is located inside a stockyard surrounded by cattle. The food was great and the portions were large. Great spot for a casual breakfast with the kids. The service was ok and there are no real options on coffee. The biscuit was fantastic.
The eatery is primarily open for breakfast and lunch. We ate lunch there and it was a great choice.
The food was really good and prepared well. The chicken tenders were the best that we've ever had (they weren't dry or overcooked). The hamburger was also quite large.
The prices were very reasonable considering the portion sizes and taste of the food. The staff was also friendly.
We will definitely go back for lunch, but we'd also like to try their breakfast. Our only wish is that they were open for dinner too!
Great experience, food was delicious and served up hot and fresh and QUICK! Burger was cooked right and very pleasant employees. Went to watch the cattle auction as we are horse people and saw good horsemanship moving cattle and enjoyed checking out the largest farrier shop and other shops in a brand new building. Highly recommend this stop!
Good quality food, laid back place to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We hear the carrot cake is amazing but were too stuffed to give it a go. Do not expect fancy here. Almost cafeteria style, but really clean and quaint.
Great place to eat brunch! Some really great southern food including omelets, chicken biscuits with pimento cheese and jam. But definitely try their Kentucky hot brown. Great location as well located on ironworks right off i75 north of Lexington
Unique food in a unique place. And the amount you get is awesome for the price. Needless to say, I ordered more than I could eat!
I've been to the original, so I was looking forward to this closer location. It did not disappoint. Everything I needed was available and the staff was quite helpful. And, while I didn't but it today, the tomahawk steaks were certainly on point!
We've eaten here twice now and the place is always hoppin'. Had breakfast and loved the pancakes and eggs. Also went for lunch. Nice variety - their chicken is to die for. Order at the counter and then they bring it to your table. Seating in the main area where you order as well as a smaller room to the side. Larger parties can eat out in the common area.
They have specials through out the year so watch for their chicken nights, fish frys, etc.
