This was my first time eating here. The food was excellent and the service was curtious and prompt.
I ordered the Carolina BBQ and pinto beans and cornbread. The beans were cooked well and seasoned great. The cornbread was fluffy and not greasy which was nice. The barbeque was delicious and tender. The food was just overall fantastic.
The place was quite busy when I arrived about 6pm but I didn't have to wait for a seat and the server came right out and did arrived quickly. It was a pleasant experience and I'd definitely eat here again.
What a gem!!! It is no-frills comfort food at its best. I work in the area once per month. I was not feeling the typical fast food chains so I just drove around. This was the only place with a full parking lot so I pulled in. It has gray painted cinderblock walls and a few decorations here and there. The inside could use a little TLC, but The staff is really friendly and they seem to works their “backs” off. I had the chicken filet biscuit with Home fries and coffee. The biscuit was what I was hoping for in the south and the potatoes - the potatoes! - were awesome. I am a potato junkie (my husband calls me spud) and these were perfection.
The prices were reasonable- I had the full meal plus tip for about what I would have paid at McDonald’s and it was much better!
I will definitely be back.
Great staff! Wonderful home style cooking with reasonable prices and large servings!
Me and my wife love their breakfast and it's reasonable price and great waitresses..
