Stopped in after reading all the good reviews and after a long week on Friday afternoon around 4p. Nice clean place and nice staff. Upon being seated I learned that they serve breakfast all day. BONUS! Well I ordered the blueberry pancakes which had the berries cooked in then a small pile on top, then added a side of grits and bacon. Both also very good!! We’ll be back.
We stumbled upon this place about a month ago, and we've been at least 5 times now. Tasty home cooked food, reasonably priced and the portions are huge. Have tried several items on the menu and the only thing I have had that I would not recommend is the grits.
Stopped by for breakfast was hesitant due to previous reviews. Not sure where they went this place was amazing. Superior service, got a good right away (didn’t even get thru a 1/2 cup of coffee). A lot of food (too much to eat). Definitely will be going back and bringing family and friends.
Wow! What a great place. They have a vast menu with nearly every breakfast option. I got the 'meat lovers' omelette and hash browns, with coffee. Huge portions and lots of coffee refills. The service staff are friendly and attentive. Can't wait to go back!
Just passing through town and stopped for breakfast. The food is excellent, especially the biscuits and gravy. Hands down some of the best I have had. Service was very quick. Would definitely stop here again if I'm ever in the area.
Pleasant surprise for a local place. The food was good quality and portions and the service was friendly and attentive. My only complaint would be that the prices for some items are ridiculously high. For my meal, I chose a bacon &egg(white) sandwich which was $10.29, add provalone+1$, sub croissant+$2.69, add a side of grits +5.99. My bacon egg and cheese croissant with 1 small side came to $20+ after tax at a local diner. If my $8.50 Irish coffee(which was very good) is included, the tab for my meal alone was $30+. A simple breakfast should not cost that much. I pointed out the issue to the server who gladly assisted. We really did enjoy our experience here however, we will be more careful about the prices of what we choose next time.
Very accommodating and delicious food! We didn't realize they closed so early on Sundays and showed up with two children an hour before they closed. There were a couple hiccups but the woman who took care of our table was very friendly and helpful. And probably one of the better waffles I've ever had! We will go back!
We had a wonderful breakfast this morning at Gainesville Diner! Service was fast and pleasant. Our omelettes were delicious and made with fresh ingredients. So glad we tried this for the 1st time and will definitely be back. Local dining spot we have been looking for!
I had a double cheeseburger from here. I didn't expect much, but let me tell you. I was blown away. It was my favorite burger that I have ever had. It looked better than the photo. Perfect presentation, and it was the juiciest burger I have ever had. 11/10.
Good food at reasonable prices. Family friendly with a nice staff. After finding out it was my Dad's birthday our server, Mayada, had a conversation with him to learn his name. She later came out with a piece of cake with a Happy Birthday message that included his name written in chocolate.

Wife and I came here for breakfast, service was good but it took forever to get our food. That being said the food was great, my western was in point and a proper omelet. My wife greatly enjoyed hers as well. My toast was forgotten in the chaos of kitchen, and they were very proactive about correcting the issue and 10% was taken off the bill without asking for it. Overall very pleased with how they handle themselves, just show a little patience when they’re busy
The biggest pro about this place is that the food was really tasty. It did take a little while longer to get the food than most restaurants. But again, the food tasted good, so the wait was worth it
The biggest negative for me is that it was a little more pricey than other diners. Three of us equaled to about $60, without the tip. Three normal plates, and three basic drinks. Nothing fancy. This is normally what we would spend for a dinner when our family is at 5 members.
Also, they add a charge to you called taxes and fees. I am not sure what "fees" mean, but it did seem a little pricier than normal dining taxes. I would like to know what fees are included to the bill, if any.
Overall, I probably would eat here again on a solo dining experience, because the food really does taste very good. But for a family on a budget, we may have to avoid it.
