Ordered a sandwich brisket not bad could have more flavor to the meat, meat was not warm just cold and fries as well, awesome sauce choices. Just food needs more flavor and be warm at least.
What if you combine good quality food with an awesome environment, well decorated, and local supportive law enforcement and military as well as sports... great caring associates, making sure that you are well taken care of? Food, drinks, and condiments are super good. This is my choice of quick quality food. Never had 1 bad day going there, and I will continue going to them every time that I see one around me.

I don't normally like BBQ but it was two against one (I wanted steak), so I gave it a try. The food here was great, but the sauces are out of this world! I wanted to take all the sauces home to dip everything in my house into them!!! I had a double meat platter, pulled chicken and the lean brisket. The lean brisket was tender and paired very well with the Texas style sauce, (it was like steak and A1, which was what I wanted) so good! The chicken was best with the sweeter spicier sauces, I can't remember the names. I wish I had taken pictures, even the spicy sauce up by the soda machine was awesome. The slaw was good, but the fries were just a little over cooked for my liking, not complaining though, I just like my fries really soft, and the ones that were soft were great. The cornbread is amazing! I would love the recipe and step by step instructions, please!! It is so crumbly and soft and has the best flavor! My husband and his brother really liked the mac and cheese and the pulled pork. We are heading down this way again for another concert, and we will definitely be here again to sample more meat and sauce combinations and to try the rest of the sides!

I came here with low expectations. I'm very particular about BBQ and figured it'd be like other bbq places with dry brisket and fries that were overly salty and bland.
Mission was not that. The brisket is like butter. The fries are seasoned perfectly without any need for ketchup. The service is friendly and personable. The prices are very reasonable as well. For years we bypassed Mission in order to go to other restaurants nearby and I feel stupid for doing so.
When in Gainesville, Mission is now my number one place for food.
Always friendly. Always tasty. Always convenient. You have to try the salmon and sweet baked potato!!! Never disappoints.

I love mission BBQ, can't beat it, been there many times. However this time there was a lady/employee cleaning up the tables outside. She was very engaging and friendly.
I'm from Canada and this is a must stop to eat when down in Gainesville. I had the smoked beef brisket, mac & cheese and green beans. To top it off they had eight different sauces to choose from. Delicious!

Excellent customer service and delicious lean brisket!!! Johnny the manager, politely let me know that they had just ran out of jalapeno sausage after I had placed my order. He basically took care of everything and apologized. I wasn't expecting much but he went above and beyond to assist. The lean brisket was so good that my 19 month old toddler kept eating and asking for more and more! I cannot recommend this location enough!
