My husband and I went here for lunch. We came from San Antonio that time and my husband was craving some German food; and since I’ve never had one before, I was game. This place is a fun place. You can dine in inside or at the bar. The place has a relaxed and fun atmosphere perfect for any age group. I ordered something with sausage (I’m sorry I can’t remember what it was called); while my husband ordered the Reuben, and we also had the German snack for appetizers. To drink my husband had a dark beer on tap while I had the German beer which is not my favorite drink. I am giving this a 5-star rating because the serving is good, although a bit pricey, the food is delish! I love our bartender who was very attentive to our needs. I love the energy of the place and I would definitely come back and bring more family and friends with me.
45min wait time for a table of 6, not too bad, we shopped around the stores nearby until text reminder table is ready. Beer battered mushroom was tasty!! a must try 👌 Reuben sandwich was great. Our server was very attentive making sure we got all the condiments we need and drinks refilled. A wonderful experience here.
The food's just delicious, we had some mushrooms, sausage, chicken fried, and a stake all very tasty. You should visit this place with an empty stomach because the portion is very generous. Great service too.
We came on a Thursday night around 6:45 pm and were told the wait would be 45 minutes to an hour. We got a text message after about 35 minutes that our table was ready. Nice!
We ordered Fried Mushrooms, Venison Sausage plate, German Meatballs plate, Kid's Mac n Cheese, and Kid's Hot Dog. The fried mushrooms were great especially with the ranch sauce. The venison sausage wasn't to our liking and we ordered red cabbage (sour) as a side and saurkraut already came with the dish. If we had thought it through, the potato salad would have been a better choice. I loved the German meatballs. Three large meatballs came with the plate and the gravy was wonderful. Highly recommend the fried mushrooms and meatball plate!
Oh wow! It was our first night in town, and I wanted German food, or at the very least, some Hill Country comfort food. Ashley was our server, and she was awesome and so knowledgeable and helpful. The venison and pork sausage was delicious as was the peach Bavarian. If you are in town, try it! I dare you. So delish!
As delicious as always! The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. The food came out very quickly, which was perfect, since we are on a road trip!
Just a heads-up; portions were rather large!

Everything about this place feels German. The food is awesome especially the desserts. The staff if excellent. Always friendly and courteous and the atmosphere is vibrant. My only concern is the tiny restroom. With seating easily for a hundred one would think a restroom to accommodate at least 4 would be a given, but alas when you enter the 15x15 restroom there's barely enough room for the line of men waiting on a busy evening. If you can handle that then this is your place for delicious German cuisine.
In a town full of them, this is the German restaurant that you will want to visit. The food is fairly priced, delicious, and generous in portion! The fried pickles did not disappoint, and it’s outdoor area is dog friendly.
