Top of the pack Mexican.
Well run. Cozy bar.
Cleanest restaurant you will ever eat in.
Reasonable prices.
Checks all the boxes.
Nuff said.
Great meal at a reasonable price. The kids truly enjoyed the children's menu; yet, ate at least half my camorenes!
Nice enough staff. Busy. Family environment. Loud. Guacamole is not guacamole. Last I knew, living in Tx currently, guac was smashed up avocados not diced-diced is great to toss over a taco but not great with chips.:((
Salsa is very bland.music is loud. Food is decent.
Chips warm and thin, which was great!
While there were some things I was not please with, the response by the restaurant was superb and thus, I must change this review from three to five stars! And, I will ask for the *other* guac next time and the *other* salsa. Only I wish those choices were presented when ordering. :)
Always one of the best. Simple fast service. Good atmosphere I prefer more flavor and less salt than what is offered however good American Mexican restaurant.
Mexican food is one of those things that's *really* hard to rate. Most people in the US have a pretty "americanized" view of Mexican food, whereas I, having grown up in Latin America, gravitate towards more "authentic" Mexican. So is it fair for me to give a low score to a place because it's not what *I* want?
Tito's is not, imo, the best Mexican in the area. Eventually I will get around to rating a couple other places, and you will be able to get a better feel by looking at my other reviews.
That said, they *are* pretty good. The food is not particularly spicy, but it is flavorful. They have three kinds of salsa. If you ask for hotter salsa for your chips, they typically bring out the "medium" stuff, but there's an "orange" habanero salsa thats hotter still.
The reason I feel they are "americanized" is that a lot of the dishes, especially at lunch, have ground beef. There's nothing *wrong* with it, but most regions of Mexico don't cook with much ground beef. Look for places with "asada" ("carne asada") (grilled meat) for a more authentic flavor.
Having said all that, the food is good, the service was good (party of 9 at lunch on a weekday will stress anyone out!) And the prices are pretty reasonable for what you get. I wouldn't expect to leave disappointed, so 4 stars seems to strike the right balance for me.
Tito's does high end mexican food and service at this location! Will make this my weekly go to. Cozy, too! 😊
Enjoyable greeting, funny guy. Got us the seat we wanted very quickly. Great front desk attendance, great food, great server. Josiah and Juanes if I'm not mistaken, keep up the good work gentlemen!
