So good! Our awesome waiter suggested the biscuits & gravy - my fave!! The chile-honey is a mouth watering taste e the gravy.
I had a drink called a ........Shandy (forgot the name) that was made of grapefruit beer, limeade and ginger beer. So tasty & refreshing.
The chargrilled oysters are my go to. The wedge salad is excellent and the blue cheese is pungent and wonderful. Last night I tried the coconut pie for the first time and what a treat. I was expecting a cream pie, but it was not. Chock full of coconut it was like a macaroon in pie shape served with a side of whipped cram. My husband had the red beans and rice and didn't leave a drop in the bowl. Easy to park, convenient to downtown the only downside is they don't take reservations. However, we were able to get a table in the bar at the window - a great spot for people watching.
We stopped by for a late lunch per the recommendation from our tour guide at the Carter House and are so thankful we took her suggestion! I had the Southern Smoked Brisket Reuben with sweet potato fries and my friend had the fried chicken plate with grits and sweet potato fries. All of it was simply amazing. My sandwich was very unique and full of flavor. I would eat it again in a heartbeat. The food was absolutely delicious and our server was very kind. She even recommended an ice cream place (Jeni's - don't miss it!! SO good!) before we left. This will definitely be on my list to visit again if I'm in the area!
We really enjoy this place. We’ve been here two Saturdays I. A row for a late lunch. The grilled oysters are my favorite even though they’ve looked different each time I’ve had them. Perhaps different cheeses or herbs were used, but with the same concept. I still loves it. The BBQ queso dip was great, but we didn’t enjoy the chips that came along with it. Not to worry, we packed the dip to go and had it at home with a great movie and the chips we like. We were also lucky to get window seats and enjoyed people watching while we are. The Restuarant does not take reservations, but the wait is short and the food domes out quick. We will probably be back next weekend for our weekly grilled oyster run.

Great bar. Fun environment. The fried pickles, oysters, and bag o shrimp are good appetizers. When it’s hot outside the bar area can get a little toasty, so prepare for that. It was a balmy 79 degrees on the bar thermostat when we were there. It was much more comfortable in the dining area, though. Overall, a good experience.
I went last night 1st time with my family and it was a great experience. I ordered the brisket tacos, unfortunately I wasn’t aware that they were spicy and I am very sensitive to any kind of spice. I wasn’t able to eat my meal. I explained to the server what was going on and he was so understanding about the situation. He resolved the issues immediately and even made sure my new dish that I choose was not spicy. I had the shrimp and grits without the hot sauce! And oh my it was delish!! Highly recommend the shrimp and grits!! Definitely try out this restaurant!
I've been to this location a few times and it never disappoints. The food is amazing. The shrimp po-boy is my favorite and they nail it every time. Definitely a must go in Franklin.
Amazing place. Great food, great drinks and very friendly service. We are from Europe and we looked for some typical southern cuisine and this is the right place. We were really satisfied.
Our food was delicious. Fried pickles appetizer, then we both had the Mahi Ruben with seasoned fries. Restaurant was clean, great atmosphere and staff was friendly and very helpful choosing from the delicious menu items.
