Sakura is a pleasant surprise in Franklin, NC area. I like testing places with a standard dish, so I tried the General Tso's Chicken. It was made exactly right, which gave Sakura my high marks.
The unsweetened tea was also delightful, and my glass was kept full. I'm pretty rough on restaurants when they don't care about the details.
Recommended for tourists.

Everything was extremely fresh, extra delicious and very fairly priced. Our group of five had several appetizers and a multitude of main courses. Not one complaint among us. Rebecca, our server was very pleasant and courteous. When in Franklin, we look forward to visiting Sakura again! 🥢
Good sushi is hard to come by in this area, so Sakura was a pleasant surprise! I tried several sushi rolls and they were all deliciously fresh and flavorful. Our server Emily was so lovely and helpful, and the atmosphere of the restaurant felt elegant which makes for a lovely outing! It’s also very reasonably priced, which is always a plus. They even had gluten free soy sauce which I greatly appreciated. If you’re looking for good quality sushi in the Franklin area look no further!
Gyoza was delicious! Hibachi was good too; our filet was cooked perfectly, but the fried rice was a little bland. We went for an early dinner arriving shortly after they opened and were seated immediately. Our appetizer and soup/salad came out quickly, but our dinners took a while, which was surprising since they weren’t very busy.
We came in a bit skeptical over reviews for the service in the reviews - however I can say without a doubt we had amazing service! The food was phenomenal! Do not expect a “Hibachi Show” where they cook in front of you - this is not that place! Food was excellent, fresh, cooked to perfection!! The service was phenomenal! We came in at 5pm on a Saturday evening and it was relatively quiet. Not super busy yet.
Dine or take out you will be completely satisfied with the delicious taste of all their food. We go with friends on Monday nights and we are NEVER disappointed! Great atmosphere also. Very comfortable.
AMAZING FOOD!!! I’m not one to like sushi but theirs is amazing. The manager runs the restaurant very smoothly and there are barely any complications.
I recommend the Cucumber Avocado Roll ( for an appetizer) and for the main meal I recommend the Chicken hibachi. I know you will love it here and even if you don’t the design inside is beautiful and the bathrooms are kept clean. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 😍
One of our favorites! Food is always super fresh and tasty! It is a bit on the pricy side, especially if you include drinks with your meal, but it is well worth it for a special night! Also, they take a bit longer to serve the food (probably because it is all fresh and made to order), but I love that because I enjoy spending time talking over a drink with friends and family when going out to eat. You pay for the atmosphere as much as the food when eating out, and I love the atmosphere here!
Great sushi, I had the Sakura Roll and a Spicy Tuna Roll both where very good. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Comfortable booths as well. Highly recommend
One of my favorite resuraunts in the the area. The lunch specials are great for anyone on a tight budget who wants Asian cuisine (sushi included).
Downfall: they are closed on wednesdays during the winter, so be sure to call ahead if you aren't sure if they're open.
