I recently visited this place and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the crunchy and tender chicken. Each bite offered a delightful contrast between the crispy outer layer and the juicy, succulent meat inside. It's clear that they have mastered the art of cooking chicken to perfection. One of the most impressive aspects was how consistently well-cooked the chicken was.
The shrimp was absolutely delicious. Wish I had some right now. The gentleman brought our order out to us and even the French fries were too hot to eat immediately. I suggest the spicy fried shrimp.....off the chain!!!
Depends on the cook and time a day hit and miss the more crowded the fresher the food
Visited as a quick walk in for a lunch special. I am not much for 'Louisiana style'... or that was what I thought after trying Popeye's 'Louisiana style' chicken. HOWEVER, Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken turned me around on that thinking with a single visit!
Their chicken had wonderful flavoring. The breading on the chicken was full of flavor without being so thick it flaked off in chunks while I was trying to eat it like the other place. The chicken itself was so tender it all but fell off the bone when I bit into it and so juicy it dripped off my chin. Certainly better than anything I could EVER achieve, better than my mom's home-cooked, and dare I say it, even better than Grandma's, God rest her soul!
The fries may not be to everyone's taste standard as they were not cooked to death, dark brown and crispy, but were cooked though and yummy without added spices. Wobbly as if home-cooked so the potato flavor was strong instead of tasting mostly like oil and salt which is what most fries taste like nowadays. These are now my personal favorites!
Did not think to try the fish. Won't make that mistake again.

I've never in my life tasted fried shrimp seasoned this spectacular! I have no complaints! Let's not forget about the fish! Quality and Quantity! You can't beat that!
The older guy as the window is kool as heck and funny also. The only reason I have 4 was because he forgot my order of fries and the chicken and fish was a tab bit salty. Overall I will go back without a doubt, especially for the comedian at the window.
I was greatly surprise on the preparedness of the food and the kindness of all the employees . I really appreciate how the employee took pride in the restaurant so clean fresh smell there were no odors ! !! Thanks Groupon for letting me be able to try out Louisiana famous fry chicken and seafood go by and enjoy off 820 and Ramey Eastwood forth worth
Staff is always friendly with me. Food is hot and fresh. Owners try hard to relate to locals, give them kudos for that, smiles and friendly words go much farther than gruffness and threats. Anyhow - the prices in this store/restaurant cannot be beat!!!!!!!
