I'm speechless everything was great from fish tacos to nachos rice yummy i so recommend this place
The girls that work there are so nice and both came by to ask if needed anything. Live this place. Food is really good too !
Yummmy!. I think the person who wrote the nasty comments about the location is a complete and utter snob! Riverside is the place I chose to live and it is certainly on it's way up! I am thrilled that Fuzzy's is part of the renewal. Love the cilantro and the feta on lots of dishes and what a bargain! Great salads and their tempura fish tacos...wow!
The best food. Simple. Fast. Competitively priced.
Cheap, with a neat atmosphere.. I didn't know quite what to expect when I went in. This place has more of a bar atmosphere. You order at the front, wait for your ticket number to be called, and then pick up your food from the kitchen.
I ordered veggie enchiladas with sour cream sauce; black beans and latin fried potatoes as sides. I also got chips and salsa. (not complimentary) The black beans had great flavor, and the latin potatoes were seasoned well. The enchiladas were stuffed, and the sauce was very rich. I was surprised at how big the portion was for only $5.95. (Or $6.95, I can't remember)
The only thing I did not like was that the salsa was served hot, and looked more like marinara than salsa. Chips were hot and fresh.
I also liked that there was no tipping involved- you pay at the front and then you do everything else yourself.
If you're looking for affordable, tasty mexican food this is the place to go!
Rowdy but good. Fuzzy's is a loud place - if you don't retrieve your food within the first 5 seconds after your number has been called out, you may be sorry - the chicken soft tacos are great - feta & cilantro are awesome touches - be aware that the "butt-burning sauce" is not very hot, so you need to drench the tacos (and please do - it's delicious)
FW Location is a Gem!. I love the Fuzzy's on Race Street! The fish tacos are my favorite. Good margaritas and cold beer. Good prices. Room on the patio. The area is older and eclectic - actually pretty cool. The area is on its way back up. Again, great place I would take friends. The new NRH location is nothing like this one - it has bad food and bad service (and the WORST atmosphere, it is like a loud cafeteria with too much bad lighting). Race Street Fuzzy's rocks solid.
Great spicy tacos. Great food, and inexpensive too. Love the Shredded Beef tacos with Habanero sauce... very spicy and yummy.
Great place to stop in for a quick bite and a beer.
Have been there several times and will continue to go back.
Decent Dining on the Cheap. Had breakfast there our last morning in Fort Worth. The place was pretty empty, which was kind of nice--we had the whole outdoor patio area to ourselves, which made for a nice, quiet meal! I got migas, and while they certainly weren't by a long shot the best I've had, they were pretty good. I really loved the green salsa it came with though. And I'm not sure what was supposed to be so scary about this place, according to a previous reviewer--I didn't find the location creepy or gross at all. Maybe I'm just less sheltered? Anyway, not a super-amazing place, but definitely a good solid bet for something cheap and easy and tasty, especially if you're out late at night, I imagine.
Totally badass. Delicious breakfast burritos.
This place is great! Disregard bad review based on location. It is not in the best area but in no way is it a "scary" area and to say you afraid the food might have needles in it based solely on the location is hardly fair to the restaurant and workers. If you doubt the quality of this place, try making it for lunch on a Friday. Tempura fish burrito all the way!
Friendly staff. Salsa has heat to it that builds so get queso if you don't like spicy. All the food was worth the price and a little more. Order at the counter and then pick up your food at the counter. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good happy hour specials. Free parking behind the restaurant.
Great food and not packed at all eachtime my family and I go. Also got this margarita I've never tried before which was mango and with that said.. it's a thumbs up for me on everything.
Im visiting forth worth for the month and this has been my go to spot since it's literally across the parking lot from where I'm staying lol. My first time here and I ordered the brisket nachos but it didn't have much brisket so it was like eating a bunch of chips with cheese, guac and sour cream . I tried it again but this time I got the beef nachos instead which were very filling. I was told by the cashier that if you order the nachos with beef you get more meat vs if you got chicken / brisket etc. Then I went for the third time trying the enchiladas with cilantro rice and ranchero beans. I mixed the enchiladas with ground meat and shrimp. I just wanna say the SHRIMP was omggggg so yummy. It's my husband's favorite when we go and the cilantro rice is also very good. Oh and when you get a FUZZYS CUP make sure you bring it on your next visit you will then only pay I believe 89cents for your drink. The margaritas are really cheap to and huge. I bought the original margarita for $4.25 it was perfect!!! I will definitely recommend. Oh and all of the staff is amazing!!! Especially the cooks who give you the food. I surely am gonna miss this spot when I go back to Houston.
Great location. We do department lunches from here occasionally and it is always a hit. Great food at a great price point! There was a goof up on our last order and when I let them know they were real quick to offer a fix, without a hesitation. Really friendly staff!
Fuzzy’s is my absolute favorite restaurant but this location is by far the best. The food is amazingly delicious, like every location and atmosphere is relaxed which I enjoy. The biggest thing to say is the customer service is INCREDIBLE! I walked in to order and they were friendly and helpful from the start. From the cashier up front to the amazing chefs in the back everyone is friendly and personable.
THIS location is great!! Good Service, Great Cooks and food. Best atmosphere also
I've been to a few Fuzzy's locations and this is by far the best. Layout inside is spacious and great for large groups. The food here is even better - ordered a grilled fish taco, and instead of the scattered fish bits that I'm used to from other Fuzzy's experiences, it was a full fish fillet and the taco was stuffed with all the regular fixings that make Fuzzy's great for quick tacos on the cheap. Staff here is also super nice.
Wow this place is great the spicy pork taco one of the best I've ever had
I am a repeat customer at thus location. I love their shrimp enchiladas, nachos, and brisket tacos. The only downside is that sometimes the food is cold. Idk if they have it prepared and sit it in warmers then serve when ordered. It's happened a few times but, I still love their food.
Fantastic food and Miguel the general manager could not be any more friendly and professional....he will roll up his sleeves and get back there on the line and cook, he will clean, run registers, greet guests and if they fall short in meeting expectations for any reason, this Fuzzy's location will make it RIGHT! Be aware, street access / parking in front is so limited it might as well not be there at all....BUT ADEQUATE PARKING IN REAR IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE. This is one of the oldest Fuzzy's in the area and while it sports an outdoor, covered patio and flat screen TVs (expect soccer or other sports), tables for large groups and more, the entry area near registers is ungodly HOT during the summer.....you'll be tempted to walk right back out, but the A/C is cold and blows strong in the dining area so hang tight while you order. Great Fuzzy's food and drink is are just moments away...!
