Exploring the area and so glad I stopped at Roy Pope Grocery for lunch. In addition to a fully stocked deli counter and boutique grocery items, their sandwiches and sides are delicious.
I got the Veggie Crunch (hummus, pesto, avocado, pickle, arugula, tomato - yum!) on wheat with a side of fries (fresh, crispy, perfectly seasoned with salt, pepper and maybe other deli spices?). It's always nice to find a tasty vegetarian option at local lunch joints. Will be back!
I’d give this place 5 stars for the cinnamon roll alone.
Full Speed coffee was great and sugary. Taco filling was great as was salsa, while tortillas left something to be desired. Niche selection of grocery items, so you might not be able to get everything you want. They were out of eggs when I went.
A step back into a simpler time where the people are all friendly and helpful and the store isn’t over an acre inside. Everything you need can be found here. The butcher shop & deli have excellent prepared foods and monster hamburgers. Might be the best in town!
Extremely friendly staff. Great sandwich, I had the Italian and it was big enough for a good lunch. The grocery party had some prices that were high and some that where very reasonable. I would love to live a block or two away and walk here to have lunch on my days off. A good little hometown experience. Parking in back.

Roy Pope is a fantastic grocery store that has it all! From butchered meats to produce and a great selection of beer & wine.
I love this store. Has a great selection for the ever hungry girl that I am. Staff is super friendly, thanks Lori and Jace for not steering a girl wrong. Jace, the chips were perfect with my yummy pimento cheese sandwich. Thank you for the suggestion. A new favorite on my radar.
Super clean store with a great atmosphere. All the fresh cooked meals are are excellent and they have a fantastic wine selection.

Great place for all your needs. Easy to stop in for coffee and a quick breakfast taco or a great lunch. It's also one of our favorite spots to get together for a glass of wine. You really can't go wrong!
