WOW. Let's start there. This place was fantastic. The food was soooo delicious. We've never been here and decided to stop in on our way through town and what a great decision. The biscuit was huge and tasty, the hamburger was ginormous and fantastic. My kids devoured their pancakes and my wife couldn't even finish her omelet it was so big. To top that off the prices were great and the staff was very friendly. If I lived here I would certainly go back. Highly recommend to everybody!
If you're looking for food that DOES NOT come in the form or "reheated", THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! OMG! I can't say enough great things. The food was incredible and I had to take dessert to go! The Giant Cinnamon Rolls are LIFE!!
Went there with a friend during holidays. Friend said services need improvement, but they were OK for me.
Interesting sights and decorations. I must include the ceiling fans without blades! It shows that the place is "historic" and "left as-is".
I always go to the Blue Mound location, but decided to try this one. Same great food and service. I tried the chopped steak today for the first time. It was delicious! I've never had one with bacon and cheese! It's delicious! My wife's omelette was awesome as well. Some of the best biscuits in DFW. Dixie is always on point.
As a 60 year resident,I am taking my new neighbor from Ohio around to good diner style breakfast restaurants. We do this weekly and today was The Dixie house on Belknap Street. Seated quickly in clean and pleasant surroundings. Rest rooms were clean. Employees friendly. Breakfast came out quickly, fresh and hot. It was very good. I say go and hope you have as good as ours was. Jeff and Mark.
One of the few cafés open past 3. It's hard to find a good place to get breakfast for dinner, but Dixie House fulfills that need. Generous portions and great value.

From the moment we walked into Dixie House Cafe, we were greeted with a smile. The food was really delicious and the whole staff was very nice. I especially liked the mashed potatoes and gravy. But we ordered a variety of things and everything tasted perfect. We will definitely go back. Thank you all for the wonderful experience!
