TOO RICH FOR MY BLOOD. Hmmm.
Not sure how to grade a place like this because of its unique feel and taste.
To keep it simple im digging the thursday night's at this place but the parking sucks!! wish they had more parking space for a place like this we had to park down the street just to get in.
so Before you call me a cheap ass i have to separate and explain why i like and dislike this place.
PRICE-HIGH!! ridicules prices that its even funny to hear the older man next to me saying BS! $29 for a 9oz of wine is just BS! and have him storm out was the best part of the night.
now with that being said i can understand the prices are a bit high compared to many other bars that i would rather prefer going to but its the choices they have that i cant get anywhere else and i love beer just not the kind that puts me poor mans area. besides the beer and wine choices the GINGER MAN pub is a really layed back place.
you can bring your dog with you and sit out in the back but im not a fan of dogs so keep ya damn stankey mutts inside the house you look like a tard walking around with a little dog next to you. mas puto!
worst part of the place other than the high killer prices is the outside part where you can sit down and eat and drink. it smells like sewer and not very enjoyable when you are trying to eat the food they serve.
Cool place. First time here, loved loved loved the beer selection. The ambiance is cool too. I loved the beer companion and the hubs liked his roast beef sandwich. Service was pretty crappy though. Our waitress kept passing us up and we had empty beer glasses. Hello? I guess because there were only two of us and she was more concerned with the bigger parties. Oh well, we'll still come back. I wish there was someplace like this in the Mid-Cities.

Amazinggggg!!!! By far the best bar in fw. Service is awesome. I go so much the bartenders know me. They really know about the beers and make really great suggestions! Cozy and perfect for meeting friends! Can't say anything bad about this place!!
The Gman is a great place to go and have a few beers with your friends. It's a very comfortable and relaxed environment. And the bartenders are amazing. It's a good place to become a regular at.
Nice, relaxed pub. I used to come here every Thursday without fail when their trivia night was at the height of it's glory. Trivia has lost a bit of it's luster, but that's another story. The fact of the matter is that the G-man is a very comfortable, relaxed place to enjoy some beer among company. The selection is about as extensive as the Flying Saucer, with just about everything you'd really want on tap. A beer novice would be overwhelmed, but if you order a Miller Lite I'll fight you!
Food wise, the G-man actually delivers solid pub grub. The sandwiches are a little light, but very tasty. The Sebastian's Deli is my favorite, but the Turkey Cranberry and Roast Beef sandwiches are good as well. When I only want a snack, the Beer Companion is my pick. The simple brat on a stick and jumbo pretzel are just fine as well.
I see someone complained about service and I think I know what waitress Maxie was talking about. Ask for Lisa, she's incredibly nice and will take good care of you!
A wonderful place!! Excellent selections of beer, great food (my fav is the pesto cheese sandwich), a first class staff! If you are uncertain what to try, ask! They are always helpful and usually you can get a taste before committing to a pint! Come by during the week for a more personal atmosphere, as weekends at this popular locale get pretty hopping! A++++++!!
Best Beer Bar in FW. Love the beer selection, love the casual atmosphere, fabulous bratwurst, and great bartenders. I wish FW would pass a no smoking law, but I suppose that is not the bar's fault and shouldn't be counted against them. Love them anyway though!

It's a great place. Interesting atmosphere, so many selections of beer on tap. I could probably have a different one everyday for a month. Great wait staff too. Friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. She alone had no trouble with our party of 12.

Great beer awaits! They have an amazing beer selection and a cool setup.
Amazing beer selection. They do not have liquor and very limited wine, but I'm a craft beer drinker so that was perfect for me. Have always had great service and like to play trivia on Wednesdays (though 1st place prize is only a $25 bar tab). They have darts and board games as well.
I've been coming to this pub since they opened and enjoy the atmosphere. The music is never too loud( the jukebox has a great selection of tunes), and they have a wide selection of beer that is moderately priced. the food is always good, I've ordered the beer companion cheese plate which is tasty and have had the pesto cheese sandwich which is delicious. this is a great place to hang out with a few friends and unwind.
Now that this place has gone smoke-free, it's fantastic! It no longer smells like an ashtray and I no longer go into a coughing fit immediately upon walking in the door.
A tough-to-beat beer selection and a top-notch food menu rounds out the experience.
This is a comfortable, usually quiet place to enjoy some of the best beers from around the world and from the great State of Texas. Even though it doesn't have "pub" in its name, it's more like a real pub than anywhere else in town. There's a dart board and outside there's a perfect patio area. Pipes and cigars allowed.
This is my favorite bar. I have gone with friends but I usually go alone. The staff is amazing and are great company. Regulars and first timers make me smile every time. I can go on my off days or after work and am never dissatisfied. Every single member of staff can, has, and continues to brighten up my day. Darts, jumbo Jenga, an array of board games and trivia night are all there if those are your things. One can literally sit anywhere and feel at home: beautiful patio area, comfortable couches, tables for large groups, stools if you feel like bothering your favorite staff member or out front if you're me 😎. You can catch a different crowd depending on what time of day it is, each and every one of them offering an opportunity to make happy memories. If you like good beer, a good time and good people then you should consider the Ginger Man experience.

Always enjoy coming here. Huge selection of craft brews, awesome staff, they sell and allow the smoking of cigars in certain areas of the establishment. Cool place to meet a few buddies and hang out.
Awesome beer selection with a great cozy environment. The bartenders were friendly, and the couches were great. Reminded me of being in an old town pub. We'll definitely be going back.
