The staff was warm and welcoming. The calamari was fantastic. I also enjoyed the cappuccino so much that I had two. Dinner and dessert was awesome, my wife and I had a great time. I recommend it for anyone who enjoys unique flavors and great atmosphere.
Cannot get enough of Nonna Tata. We are fortunate to have been patrons of this small but wonderful venue. Donatella is the best who puts love in her cooking. This is true Italian and the BYOB makes it a awesome place to enjoy your own wine! Don't forget to bring cash or check.
Nona Tata is not just the name of the restaurant, but the Chef as well! This Chef driven Italian is some of the best you will find anywhere. Each dish is made with care as if you were in someone's Italian home. Every taste is spot on, from classics to personal takes on old favorites. Not a lot of seating inside, more on the patio outside. BYOB and CASH only! Add this one to your favorites 😍
This is some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. I hadn’t been back in probably 7 years after I moved away and it was great to go back and find that the food quality is still A+. The sautéed calamari is ridiculously good. Pastas are epic. You can also bring your own wine (BYOB). Heads up. It’s cash only so be prepared. It’s also a very tiny restaurant so be prepared to wait. Just go down the street to The Usual for a cocktail while you wait.
This is one of those places I almost don’t want to leave a good review for - because I love it so much and I don’t want it to become as crowded and packed as it deserves to be. The food is very good, as is the atmosphere.
Bring your own wine. This is definitely a place I’d take a girl on a first date (or a wife on a 3,000th date) - and if that’s the case, then request to be seated in the covered patio area, as it might be a little more romantic sitting there. It’s the little things, you know.
I had “the Mediterranean” (see photo) and it was damn good. Perfect portion sizes too.
Authentic, homemade Italian. This evening we sat on the quiet patio and got excited tasting the Gnocchi and spinach pasta dishes. Be sure to bring your own bottle of wine and step into a piece of Italy. Unbelievable that this exists in the middle of Fort Worth Texas. They accept CASH AND CHECK ONLY.
After careful consideration, this is the premiere Italian restaurant in all of DFW, and perhaps best of any restaurant. Majorly authentic, flavorful, and perfect. BYOB as a bonus. I think the lady who cooks this stuff is actually from Italy. Small place with not a lot of tables, but man, I'm here to tell you that if Gordon Ramsay made a surprise visit to this place he would do the same thing I do every time: CLEAN MY PLATE!

Drove all the way down there just to find out that they were closed for a private event. That was not mentioned on either
voicemail or website. I look forward to a chance to update this review, but until then that was a serious service mess.
Always delicious. I'd call it rustic Italian..? Unlike American pastas not everything here is drenched in tomato sauce. Here everything is light and aromatic. Most the pasta is homemade. The foccia bread is amazing. Its byob. Seating is limited, like only 10 tables total, so get there early or go during the week. Definitely a fort worth gem.
Great service, the bread and garlic noodles taste amazing! Will definitely be returning. Very crowded around opening time.
Casual neighborhood gem. Probably less than 10 tables inside with additional covered patio seating. Fantastic food. The house-made special pasta is very good. It’s offered as a an upgrade to some menu selections. Tuesday-Friday only. Check service hours before you go and bring cash. No credit cards accepted.
Very little amount of seating mainly on the patio. Mainly a quiet atmosphere, food is delicious and they do not serve alcohol however you can bring your own and they will supply wine glasses.
