Super excellent ice cream experience!
Spent a 100-degree afternoon with my daughter in Fort Worth. We were both exhausted and ready for a treat when we found MELT. MELT features fantastic homemade style ice cream in the trendy historic Fairmount Southside district in Fort Worth.
My daughter ordered a lemon sorbet, and I had a single scoop of Salt Lick, a "housemade buttery and salty caramel ice cream." Both flavors were amazing and were beyond our expectations. The heaping single scoop portions were more than generous.
The cones were fresh made on the waffle Irons behind the serving area where the staff was busily and courteously helping the many patrons standing in the line. We waited outside for a minute or so to get in, but who cares.
Not super spacious inside, but there's a small seating area and additional seating outside. Even with all the folks coming in behind us, it never really felt crowded.
My daughter accidentally dropped some of the sorbet onto the floor when she was handed the cone, and the server instantly replaced the lost bit with a fresh scoop.
Awesome experience. Thank you, MELT!
Creamy, delicious, and creative!! Love all the flavors and the freshness of their ingredients. There was a line but it moved fairly quickly. You get to taste their flavors before you make a decision which is definitely a plus since they have so many unique pairings. I will be going back to try more
Lovely ice cream spot! They have some of the best ice cream in the city, and they're fairly priced. They have a ton of flavor options, and they welcome all the sample requests! I tried 4 or 5 flavors before deciding on the tiramisu flavor, and I was not disappointed! Creamy, soft, delicious. They also have cone and ice cream sandwich options, which I will certainly try in the future. This is great place to go after a coffee or dinner date on Magnolia!
What a great great after dinner on a hot Texas evening! Melt is quick to serve and delicious. Ricky Road and Peachy Keen topped the list for our group but everything on the menu sis good. Even the shakes are wonderful.
Sad they are not as nice and not as good as before. I remember when Melt was first opened like about 10 years ago at Magnolia st. It was across the street from the current location, plane weird white small building. Their flavor was richer, sweeter, just better. For the first time in like 5 years, I came back missing that flavor. Sadly the place I remembered was gone. It’s now just a plane ice cream store that you can find anywhere.. but it’s good to see their business expending and doing well.
A super cute lil shop near many other shopping places and shops in Fort Worth! They have a wide array of options and I am dairy free so enjoyed their summer pineapple sorbet made with fresh pineapple jam. The sorbet was super fresh and tasted similar to Taiwanese pineapple cake filling! Loved it!
Nice little ice cream shop with a cool atmosphere and good ice cream will be back
We have been to melt many times, and it has always been great! I like the seasonal ice creams as well as the “always” ones. The vanilla bean ice cream is very good, as well as the horchata. The theme of the restaurant is very cute, and the rooftop balcony and patio are very cool! We have taken home several pint sized ice creams, and they’re good too!
A number of custom ice cream flavors. Some delicious combinations. Kids enjoyed a loaded cookie dough cone.
Came for Taco Tuesday after a fun shoot walk down Magnolia. Choice of two flavor scoops, hot fudge, caramel, and whipped cream in a taco shaped waffle. My son chose dark chocolate and strawberry. I got a scoop of BlackBerry pie. All flavors were delicious and a perfect cool down for this humid night.
Staff was sweet and fast. A little line but any place good will have a line.
